Pi
Zero threw me inside the car at pumasok sa kabilang pinto. I was fuming in anger samantalang blanko lamang ang ekspresyon niya habang pinaharurot palayo ang sasakyan.
Why I’m angry?
I just hate how that foreign fucker had an easy death. I should have tortured him, feed his brains to maggots or whatever! Just few gunshot is so easy and painless! He didn’t even feel how the metal passed through because I lost it and just shoot him as much as I could! What a shame!
I snapped as I turned to Zero. “Let’s go back?”
He glanced at me for a while. “Where?”
“To the ship!”
He arched a brow. “Why?”
“I need that foreign fuckers’ corpse, he can’t die that easily--”
“Pi, he’s dead already.”
Alam ko! But I should pay his fucking dead bod with whatever tribute I could do! Maybe I’ll send his chopped dick to his wife who actually had a taste of my husband. Okay that was immature of me, that happened long ago. Ang ikinagalit ko lamang ay ang kagustuhan ng Russian na iyon na patayin ang asawa ko. Huh, he has to pass through me before he could get to him!
“So? I just need to kill his corpse and--” I stopped when I remembered something. I am actually with a fucking traitor inside a car. It was disappointing to know he isn’t the Zero I thought I knew. Proud na proud pa ako kapag sinasabi kong nasa akin ang loyalty niya, but what the fuck is this treachery? “Who are you Zero?”
His expression was stern but there was still that hint of tenderness in his eyes. Sa loob ko ay iniisip kong marahil naroon pa rin ang Zero na akala ko ay totoo. “Let’s just get out of this place first to avoid any hassle.”
“No--”
“You know your anger would do no good in moments like this Pi,” he said, effectively shutting me off. Zero knows me so well, my weak spots, anger issues and even every little thing about myself that I didn’t know.
Nagmaneho siya hanggang sa pumasok kami sa isang barge. The barge immediately left the dock, heading towards the opposite direction. Pinatay niya ang makina at bumaba upang pagbuksan ako ng pinto.
“Is this where you will kill me?” tanong ko sa kanya. I hopped off the car, looking at him with sadness and remorse. Nakakalungkot na hindi siya ang Zero na akala ko ay kilala ko. And I’m freaking angry because I didn’t know he was a two-faced traitor all along.
He sighed as he closed the car’s door. “Alam mong hindi ko iyon magagawa sa’yo Pi.”
Tumawa ako nang mapakla. “Gaya ng paniniwala kong hindi mo aahasin si daddy? The Bellomo family?”
