Today I'm going to propose to Y/N, she has no idea at all that I'm gonna propose. "Why are we driving to the top of a mountain?" She asked whilst I was driving out to this secret spot I found that's perfect for proposing. "Don't worry about it, babe" I replied, turning to look at her. "Shawn! Keep your eyes on the road" she told me because she knows my dangerous driving habits.
Once we got there, I parked the car and told Y/N to wait in some nearby woods. She looked at me with a puzzled look on her face. "There's something wrong with the car" I lied. She just nodded and smiled.
Truth was, I was getting the ring out of the backseat. "I have to tell you something" I said to Y/N as we sat down to watch the sunset. "Mhm?" She asked. "You're gonna have to stand up for this" I told her, and she obliged.
"Y/N Y/L/N, the light of my life, will you-" I was about to ask but got cut off by a very loud 'yes' from Y/N. "I haven't even finished asking, but anyways: will you marry me?" I said. She told me "I've already said yes".
I put the ring on her finger and kissed her, then we went home.
