Your POV
I was rudely awoken by Shawn stumbling around our bedroom. "Shit, sorry babe" he said when he saw me waking up with a look on my face like 'try that again and I'll end you'. "So what's happening today?" I asked. "The boys are coming over" he replied. Knowing that none of his friends like me, I contemplated going to my friend's house, but Shawn told me to stay.
After we had gotten dressed and eaten breakfast, the doorbell rang. Instantly dreading today, I decided to sit on the couch. "I see miss morbidly obese whale bitch over here still hasn't developed anorexia" one of Shawn's friends said, gesturing to me.
"Hey, Shawn! Y/N is so fat, when she went to an aquarium the whales started singing 'we are family even though you're 20 times fatter than me'" another one of Shawn's friends said. "Stop it guys!" Shawn said, trying to defend me. I briefly kissed his cheek to thank him. "Yeah and when she stepped on the scale last, it said error" another one of his friends said, that was the last straw for me.
Crying, I ran out of the room. "Great job guys! You made her cry" Shawn scolded his friends. "Well that bitch deserved it" one of his friends said. Shawn left and followed after me, finding me crying in the corner of the bathroom.
"Hey, look at me, ok?" Shawn whispered, wiping my tears away with his thumb while holding my chin with his other hand. Slowly looking at him, I began to cry even more. "They're right. I am morbidly obese and do deserve to be fat shamed" I sobbed. "You're not even obese, baby. You're just a size 14, which is perfectly normal" he reassured me. "But a size 14 is obese. A size 8, 10 or 12 is considered plus size" I told him.
"You're so beautiful, one day I'm gonna make you believe that" he said, pulling me onto his lap. "Thanks Shawn" I said, resting my head on his shoulder. Shawn's phone buzzed and he checked his text messages and rolled his eyes in disappointment. "What was that all about?" I asked. "Not gonna name names, but one of my friends texted me saying they all left because I was making sure you were ok" he explained.
