Family Day Pt. 6

Nico's POV

"Nico, dude that was amazing!"

Jason said. I smiled.

"Yeah well, I'm tired of them thinking they own the place."

I sat down between my parents.

"You gonna eat that?"

I asked my mom. She was just staring at me.

"What?"

She pushed her food towards me and stood up.

"Mom?"

She walked out of the cafeteria. I also notice Leo's mom was gone too.

"That was weird."

I said.

"Your mom never liked the idea of people standing up for others."

My dad said. I looked at him.

"What do you mean? She always told me to stand up for myself, and my friends."

I asked. Everyone was talking amongst themselves. My dad looked directly at me.

"I think she thinks you're turning into me."

My eyes widened. Did my mom really think I was turning into my dad...I mean I am like him a little but still, I could never be that cruel.

"Well I'm not."

"You sure about that? I mean you look exactly like I did in high school, you talk the same and-"

"I'm not turning into you. I'm my own unique individual."

"Now you sound like a therapist."

A therapist you say...

"Well I hope so...since I'm gonna be a therapist."

Everyone stopped talking.

"You're gonna be a therapist?"

Percy asked.

"Yeah, you pervert."

"But you don't even like Dr. Lupa."

"Yeah well, she's boring. I'll be a fun therapist."

"Therapists aren't fun, they're only fun when they begin, then they learn what people have been through and they slowly become un-fun."

"But I already know what people have been through! And I know what it's like to feel depressed and all that. I bet Dr. Lupa has never been depressed or anything."

I put a fork into my mom's food. I'm not gonna be my dad.

"So what'd I miss?"

Charlie said, walking up to the table.

"Well, Nico stood up to Octavian and all them."

"Seriously! I missed that?"

"Yeah, you did."

"Gods-danm it."

Charlie sat down.

"Oh, and Nico said he's gonna be a therapist."

Percy said, making me feel kinda stupid for saying it at all.

"What's wrong with that?"

Charlie said. Thank you Charlie!

"Nothing, it's just weird."

Percy said.

"You can't say anything about being weird."

Charlie looked confused. Percy starting blushing again.

"Well, I'm starving, anyone wanna get food with me?"

Percy said. Charlie and Jason stood up.

"Well, I'm gonna see where Leo ran off too."

His mother said, getting up. I forgot he ran off. Gods I'm so forgetful.

She walked out of the cafeteria. I wonder what Leo was upset about, I mean I get that I bad mouthed his ex, but he shouldn't care. Right? Maybe I should text him.

I picked my phone and...it was dead. Of fucking course.

"A therapist."

My dad said. I nodded.

"I remember when you were 5, you wanted to be a chef, and we let you cook super, and you burned the pasta, and you cried for 3 hours straight."

My dad said.

"Really?"

"Really. I have it all on video."

"I was probably so upset, cause I wasn't a real Italian."

My dad laughed.

"You're an idiot."

I smirked.

"Takes one to know one."

"Yeah well.....gods fucking dammit."

"Hades!"

Persephone said. She had her hands over Thanatos ears.

"Sorry, my love."

Ugh. He was one of those people. Everyone cringed, which made me laugh. Percy, Charlie, and Jason sat down, arguing about something.

"No!"

"But Percy!"

"I said no, and that's final!"

"Guys, it shouldn't matter."

Jason said. I had a feeling-

"It does matter! I ship Leico and I want to read it!"

"Well write your own!"

"Percy, Percy, Percy, I can't write for shit."

"Well, neither can I."

"But you know them better than I do, so it would actually proper. If I wrote it it would be like "wanna do it" "sure" boom! V-card gone."

Everyone was looking at the two boys weirdly. I was trying my best not to laugh.

"That's pretty much how I write mine."

"So if you're aloud to write fan fiction about me and Leo-"

I began.

"Leico."

Charlie corrected.

"Yeah whatever, then I can write Jercy, right?"

Jason blushed, Charlie laughed, and Percy just shrugged.

"I guess."

"You guess, you're not gonna defend me! Brah, what the fuck?"

"Hey!"

Persephone said. We ignored her.

"Dude I'm only gonna say this once, if I was gay, I'd be all over that superman bod."

"Percy!"

Both Annabeth and Sally hit him.

"Well it's true!"

Jason looked at Percy, either crying out embarrassment or laughter, and said these words I will never forget.

"When and where."
