Nico's POV

I barely paid attention in art. Leo isn't terrified of Percy. I mean, Percy's not scary.

"Nico?"

Rachel asked. I looked up. The room was completely empty except for me and her.

"Yes, Rachel?"

"Are you okay? You seemed out of it today."

Guess I was obvious.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I was just thinking about things."

She smiled.

"Okay, well...get out of my classroom."

I got up.

"You don't need help cleaning up?"

"I'm good."

I walked out of the classroom and into the almost deserted halls. The only people who were there, besides me, was Leo and Calypso.

Great.

I couldn't hear what they were saying, but Leo was blushing like mad. I ducked behind a trash can and spied. Giggling, bouncing, smiling. SHE WAS FLIRTING WITH HIM. AND LEO WAS ENJOYING IT!

I ducked towards an open classroom door, closer to them. Leo almost saw me, but I made it.

"You're so funny Leo!"

She said. I scowled.

"Thanks Cally."

He looked like he was gonna die! I've never seen his face so red!

"So...Nico. Are you two together?"

Of course she would want to know.

"Um, no, we're not. Why?"

"So I can do this?"

SHE MOTHERFUCKING KISSED HIM.

Oh my gods. OH MY MOTHERFUCKING GODS. HE'S KISSING HER BACK.

BEAST MODE ACTIV-

"Cally, I'm sorry. I can't do this."

"But you just said you weren't together. And I know you aren't with anyone else, so why-"

"I still...love him. Even if we're not dating."

She straight up laughed in his face.

"Love him? Leo you've known him for like 2 months!"

Leo glared at her.

"And I've spent almost everyday with him! I don't get why people can't accept the fact that I fall in love fast! You should know that!"

She rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, have fun with your emo cutter boy toy."

Low blow, even for her. I popped up from behind the door.

"You skanky bitch!"

They looked at me.

"Oh, Nico! I-"

"Not now."

"How am I being skanky? You guys AREN'T together."

I looked at Leo. He wasn't looking at me.

"We are. So step off bitch."

Calypso looked really confused. I mean, I would be too.

"But he just said-"

"Yeah, I didn't want people to know. He was just respecting my wishes."

I lied. She looked between us, before stomping away. I turned to Leo.
