Brandon's POV

"I love you" I smiled at Maggie
"I love you too babe" she smiled back before giving me a quick peck and driving off

I watched her car disappear down the street as I smiled. I walked up to my door, going to put the key in but the door pushed open causing me to cock an eyebrow in confusion because I remember locking in the morning when I left.

I slowly opened the door, walking in quietly and scanning the room, there stood a giant suit case in the middle of the doorway, there was some shuffling before a figure appeared holding another bag.

"Jesus Brandon, you scared me" the person said holding their chest.

My heart stopped when we locked eyes.

Y/N stood in front of me, last time I had seen her in person was 4 years ago when she moved to Australia to film some movie with Chris Hemsworth.

(Quick question, who's hotter in the sexy quadfecta of Chris'?)

"Hi" I said nervously
"Hi" she smiled back
"How are you?" I asked
"Good"
"How was Australia?"
"Nice, suns always out, Chris was helpful in teaching me how to speak like them, it's been good" she nodded
"I missed you" I said after some silence

There was more silence, as Y/N looked down. Allowing me to study her. She wore a brown coat over some tight black jeans and a while turtleneck she had tucked into the jeans. A giant gold double C emblem was shining on the front of the jeans from the belt she wore. She had on some brown ankle-boot heels that matched the coat. Her hair was longer now and had highlights in.

She lifted her head to look at me. Her Matt red lips pursed together, as tears glossed over her big brown eyes. She wore close to no make up if you counted the matt lip that popped out.

"You can stop lying" she said quietly

I looked at her confused
"The girl who you're with now" she said nodding toward the door
"Y/N-
"Social media isn't a safe place and I don't live under a rock" she said slightly laughing
"I didn't mean for you to find out this way" I said looking at my fingers

After Y/N left our relationship was strong, the distance plus the crazy hours we both work and time zones made time for us to sit down and talk very limited and when we got to actually talk as time gradually went on the silence would fill up most of our video calls. Texts where even worse with gaps of up to 3 weeks.

"It's wrong what they say." She said. Again I shot her a confused look "distance doesn't make the heart grow fonder"

Her eyes showed how broken she was, even though she was cracking jokes and speaking lightly the whole situation was heart breaking. And it broke my heart, that I was the reason she was crying.

She sniffed
"I hope she treats you like the amazing man you are. I wish both of you nothing less then the best in life and I wish for you to succeed going forth" she smiled

I shot her a smile back, completely speechless

"Is that all you came for?" I asked after a moment
"No, actually, I took time off work to come here and visit you for a month but seeing as I'm not needed I'll just go visit my aunt" she said
"I'm sorry Y/N, I really am" I said
"I know you are B" she said

There was a honk heard from outside as she grabbed the bags and began her way out. She gave me a kiss on the cheek before disappearing out the door. I watched her put her bags into the trunk and look at the house once more, a tear slipping discreetly down her cheek before she wiped it and hopped into the car

I sighed, rubbing my temples
"I still love you"
