Tapping my foot against the car floor I waited for the signal. It was a quiet night and only the cars could be heard in the distance. I looked ahead before I heard the prison sirens go. I bit my lip and started the engine as the door swung open and closed. I hit the gas and off I went ignoring the pops of the police guns.

"Lose them" Zion said rummaging through his bag. He pulled out a gun before rolling down the window and beginning to shoot back.

The back windows shattered as bullets began flying through the car, I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen but ignored it and continued to drive as Zion and I lost the police.

We stopped at the bushes as he got out and changed, throwing the orange garments in the bushes and hopping into the car. We drove to my house where we got in and locked the windows and doors.

I walked into the bathroom, throwing my now blood soaked shirt into the washer and beginning to bandage my wound. As I continued I felt a pair of warm lips on my neck.

"You know I never doubted you for a second" Zion said huskily.
"Yeah" I said brushing him off and walking out of the bathroom
"What's wrong with you? I'm finally free" Zion said leaning against the door

"Not only did I have a baby with him but I also just freed the man who killed my brother in cold blood. So what is right with me?" I asked him sarcastically
"Come on baby, Elizabeth, me and you can finally live the life we deserve" Zion smiled softly
"Where exactly will we live this life because in case you forgot sir, you're a fugitive!" I snapped
"Hey! I did this for us! Be greatful bitch" Zion seethed

I simply rolled my eyes and went on to switch the TV on. As Zion's face flashed across the screen I rolled my eyes and kept channel hopping, finally getting tired of hearing how he was being looked for and switching the TV off with a sigh

As Zion took a shower I went to check on Lizzy, smiling at her cute self sleeping. The door went making me groan as I pulled myself to answer it. There stood a police man.

"Hello mam'" he greeted
"Hello" I said swallowing my fear
"We just came to warn you that Zion is on the loose and if you want witness protection we can provide it" he said quickly
"I was informed and thank you, we are very safe" I smiled
"Okay, just we need to do a quick check of the house to make sure he is not hiding here" he said
"No- I'm okay, I'll call if anything happens" I stuttered
"Are you sure?" He asked
"Yes. I'm sure now I was about to masterbaute so can you please" I said making the situation awkward

He nodded awkwardly before running to his patrol car and zooming off

"Awww babygirl if you were so frustrated you should have told me" Zion said from behind me making me spin around

Around his waist was a crisp white towel, as his abs dripped water along with his dreads

"You're getting water all over my floor" I said coldly
"I get that a few years can be frustrating on the body" Zion said kissing my neck "and the last time you had some good dick was when Lizzy was conceived" he smirked
