Happy 3 year anniversary to all my BEANZ❤️ I'll share my story down below of how I came across the boys :)

Gripping the bag in my hand I ran down the stairs of my run down apartment to where Zion sat with his "friends" on our old second hand couch

"Really Zion, I thought we've been over this before" I yelled catching their attention and halting their conversations
"Woah, I don't know who you're yelling at?" He said looking at me, fire burning in his eyes

If there was one thing Zion hated me doing, was ruining his rep. Making him seem inferior, like he couldn't control his girl in front of his friends. He'd treat me like a dog whenever they were here and all for some sort of social approval or respect of some sort

"I'm sorry is anyone else's name here Zion?" I asked sarcastically
"Look I'm busy, I'll deal with you later" Zion said waving me off
"Numerous amounts of times I've told you not to keep this shit in the house. Especially with Kai around" I yelled throwing the bag of dope at him
"Look Y/N-
"What if he ingests it? Plays with it? Sets it on fire And something happens? You know he's at that age where curiosity is his worst enemy!" I said, tears brimming my eyes at the thought of anything happening to my sweet baby

As if on cue, the door burst open as Kai ran through.
"Mommy!" He squealed hugging my legs

I looked up at the clock. It was only 2pm and school didn't get out in the next hour and a half so why he was here puzzled me.

"Why are you here Kai? Are you bunking school! Kairo Kuwonu I've told you many-
"No, he got kicked out" a voice said at the door. I looked to see one of the teachers who was pretty close to me standing there
"Kai, go play, mommy will call you down for lunch in a minute" I said rubbing his hair before he skipped upstairs

I looked at him, slightly smiling as he disappeared into his room before I turned back to Ms May. My smile instantly dropping once I remembered the topic at hand

"What do you mean he was kicked out?" I asked
"In case you havn't noticed Ms Y/L/N you're late on two years of payments. School can't keep Kairo there if you're not paying for it, we're not a charity" she stated
"When did this kicking out happen?" I asked
"This morning, he hasn't attended class since" she said
"So why didn't you call us?" Zion interrupted "can't have my son sitting outside like some drop out, he has a reputation to keep up"

I scoffed
"I'll keep up with payments, just give me a week to get the money together I promise" I said
"Okay, I don't wanna see such a brilliant mind go to waste because of something we can fix you know" she said giving me a small smile before greeting and leaving

I sighed and went into the kitchen to make lunch. I opened the refrigerator to find a half eaten apple and mayonnaise from two weeks ago with a rotten egg in the back. I rolled my eyes and stormed into the living room where the boys were now smoking the dope I had earlier thrown at Zion

"There's no food" I stated simply
"Okay and" Zion said exhaling smoke
"Excuse me- what are we supposed to eat? In case your brain has forgotten humans need food!" I snapped
"You need to watch your tone-
"No Zion! We live in a dump, there is no food in the house, your son's brain isn't being fed the correct amount of knowledge for his age, things are falling apart yet all you care about is a reputation, dope and having respect from your friends! That shit doesn't make anything better!" I yelled before storming upstairs and slamming the door

*2 hours later

I sat folding the last of the laundry as Kai slept next to me. The door opened slowly revealing Zion who was slightly stoned. He walked in and slumped against the bed. I scooped Kairo up and took him to his bedroom, not wanting him to be woken up to this sight

Once I came back I sat on the floor, pulling my suitcase out and beginning to fold my clothes into it

"What are you doing?" Zion asked
"Packing" I said plainly
"For what" he asked again
"To leave Zion." I said slamming my fists against the bag "I'm tired, I can't keep living like this anymore. You're selling dope to furbish us a life like this?"

Zion looked up at me
"Where are you going to go?"
"I don't know. Maybe a shelter til I can get on my feet but until then Zion I wish you luck"

Zion grabbed my wrists, pulling me into him and placing a passionate kiss onto my lips

"Please don't leave me" he said as tears ran down his cheeks
"Zion I don't-
"I promise I'll stop it all! The kush is gone anything to keep you and Kai in my life please" He cries

I looked into his eyes. Something flashed in them. Almost a feeling of genuine regret and love and truthfulness. I smiled and pulled him into my chest

One more chance couldn't hurt right
