Skye's POV

I look at the girl who's driving beside me right now.

"I swear to god Skye, you're making me uncomfortable with your gazes. Stop that."

"Will the comment 'you're hot while driving' makes it more uncomfortable, Layla?" I asked.

She snorted. "No, but thank you for the compliment, Skye. But this will remind me not to drive the next time I'm hanging out with you."

I rolled my eyes. There she goes again with the term 'hanging out'.  Well, she insisted on calling it that dahil di naman raw ito date. Pareho lang daw kami ni Hali na makulit at naghahanap ng kasama sa mga bagay na gusto naming gawin. She's half correct tho.

It turns out when Hali used her chance to date Layla, they went shopping in Divisoria, isang bagay na gustong-gustong gawin ni Hali magmula pa noon. Nang malaman ko iyon ay parang gusto kong magtampo sa kapatid ko dahil hindi niya ako sinama. I wanted to experience Divisoria too but I knew better than to meddle her chances with the one and only girl we're fighting for. So here I am, getting my chance to make this particular Santiago fall for me... hopefully.

It's a tough chance, of course. Condisering my sisters' feelings and their need to prove something to her. Hali is literally living close to her so she gets the most chance to hang out with Layla; Gaia, oh well, that sister of mine is smart so she knows how to play her cards well kaya di na ako nagtaka nang makita ko kung gaano kagusto ni Layla mapalapit sa kanya. And there's Auburn too. She doesn't seem to show interest on Layla... at lesst for now.

And me? I'll make my move right now. Starting with showing Layla that I'm the type of person who knows fun.

"Natahimik ka na diyan," Layla said suddenly. Naka focus pa rin siya sa pag dra-drive.

"Would you rather like when I talk?" I said.

"Duh, siyempre. Gusto mo bang antukin ako habang nagmamaneho? Malayo rin ang Laguna mula dito ha? Ano ba kasing pumasok sa isip mo at sa Laguna mo pa napiling pumunta? May amusement park naman sa Pasay ah."

"Ehhh, ayaw ko dun. Maraming tao," reklamo ko.

"Tsk, eh bakit ako ang pinag-drive mo?"

Napakamot ako sa batok. Nakakahiya kasi ang dahilan. "Kasi..."

"Kasi? Come on Skye."

"Kasi di ko alam kung paano pumunta doon. I've never been to any amusement parks before," I look outside the window. Maganda ang panahon ngayon. Hindi masyadong maaraw hindi rin naman mukhang uulan.

Natahimik saglit si Layla. "Even Disney Land?"

"Nope," I said popping the 'P'.

"Seriously?! Sa yaman niyong yan hindi man lang kayo naipasyal ng mga magulang niyo sa happiest place on earth?"

"Exactly. Sa sobrang yaman namin nawalan na sila ng time na bigyang atensiyon ang childhood namin. Not that I hate my parents for that, pero mas natuon kasi ang atensiyon nila noon sa papalaking business. Para rin naman sa kinabukasan naming magkakapatid iyon," paliwanag ko. I look at her and I noticed that she slowed down a bit and she's looking at me with a weird expresssion.
