Avengers visit

Once I'm done with my breakfast I take the bowl and the glass to the sink to wash and clean. I then dry it before putting them away. I then turn to my father and motion for the dragons to come to me with a signal hand gesture. They instantly fly to me and rest on my shoulders "now, I should name you two before I do anything else today" I ponder earning a squawk from them before they fly off my shoulders and settle on the table. "No, no. No dragons on the table" Elijah says trying to shoo them off which isn't a good idea as one of them hisses and feels threatened by it "don't do that. That makes them feel threatened, never make sudden fast movements. You have to be gentle and careful towards dragons especially when they're babies as it affects how they turn out when they're adults" I explain making the dragons squawk and flap their wings in response making me giggle and Gideon coos "hey baby boy" I coo earning a little coo from him. 

I look at the dragons and they look back at me "let's see. I shall call the reddish brown dragon Mushu after the Mulan movie I saw a while back which I loved and I shall call the green dragon Eragon" I say the dragons each flap their wings in response to the name I give them. "You like those names?" I ask earning a squawk in response making me giggle. "There's people approaching" Kol says suddenly "Ga opp" I say to the dragons telling them to go upstairs in Norwegian "I'll take them" my father says making Mushu and Eragon fly over to him and sit on his shoulders as he exits the room.

We all leave the kitchen except for Hayley who Kol hands Gideon too. Elijah walks over to the door and opens it only to be greeted by Tony, Steve, Bruce, Natasha and Clint "oh hi guys" I say as Elijah allows them into the compound. "Hi, Thor informed us you gave birth so we came to see you and the baby to wish you congratulations" Steve explains "oh, well that's nice of you. It's good to see you all" I respond "Thor told us you had a boy. Is that true?" Natasha asks "yes" I respond "see? I knew it would be a boy. I'm always right" Tony boasts stepping forward and handing me a blue gift bag with the words baby boy written across it. "What's this?" I ask "another little gift for my godson" he responds making me roll my eyes and shake my head as I reach into the gift bag and pull out the wrapped present. I rip off the wrapping paper and shoving it in Klaus's hands since he was closest to me. I gasp and let out a little giggle as I see what Tony had given me "oh, these are so cute" I gush holding up the two baby onesies which have the Avengers logo on.

"Thought you would like them. I had them made especially for your little one" Tony explains "aw, this is really nice of you Tony. Thank you" I respond giving him a quick hug "now my onto my godson. Where is he?" he asks "well first of all he's in the kitchen with Hope's mom and two my boyfriend and I haven't discussed godparents for our baby yet" I respond making him shrug "it's fine. I already know who it's going to be" he responds "right, of course you do" I respond "let's all head to the living room and sit down and I'll introduce you to my son" I add making everyone nod and we all head to the living room except for me since I go to retrieve my son from Hayley. "Hey, who was at the door?" Hayley asks as I enter the kitchen "just my avengers team" I respond as I take Gideon from her "my uncle had informed them of me giving birth so they came to congratulate me and meet Gideon" I explain as Hayley takes Hope out of the high chair she was in. "That's nice" she replies as we exit the kitchen and head to the living room. "Aw, he's so cute" Natasha gushes as I go over to where Kol is and sit down next to him. "For a child that is descended from Loki the God of pain in my ass. He is a cute kid" Tony comments making me glare at him but I can't help but giggle at this comment at the same time. "He looks like you" Steve says "he looks even more like her when he's in his natural form. When he's in his jotun form" Klaus informs "I don't know whether that was supposed to be an insult but if it was. I suggest you keep your mouth shut and keep comments like that to yourself otherwise I will not hesitate to punch you in the face" I respond casting him a fake smile. "Sorry my hormones are through the roof" I say shaking my head "it's alright, my wife was the same after she gave birth" Clint responds giving me a small smile "so what have you named the little guy?" Bruce asks "Gideon Ryder Mikaelson" I respond "nice name" Tony responds "it's different but it's cute and the name suits him" Natasha comments making me smile. "So about the whole godparent thing? I have decided on who the godparents shall be" I say "wait, shouldn't Kol get a say in this?" Freya asks "I'm alright with whoever she picks to be Gideon's godparents. I trust her judgement" Kol respond "so who've you picked?" Elijah asked "I couldn't quite choose so I decided to choose all candidates. The godparents of my son are Steve Rodgers..." I'm cut off by Tony "aw man!" he complains while Steve smirks but looks surprised "hold on Tony, I'm not finished" I respond "oh, well do continue" he replies "Gideon's other godparents are Clint, Natasha, Bruce and you Tony" I respond making him instantly grin "so you're making all of us the godparents?" he asks gesturing to himself and the others "yes, you are all great people to have as godparents and I think you all could teach my son very valuable and interesting life skills and I know if there were ever a threat, that you would protect him. My son will need people like you in his life" I explain "that's kind of sweet" Bruce comments "I've never been a godparent before" Steve comments "well you were too busy fighting hydra and being a soldier plus from what I know you weren't such a sociable guy before you became Captain America" Tony responds "well that's not entirely true. I had a friend and there was Peggy" Steve replies with a sigh "ohh. Who's Peggy?" I ask "Peggy is the love of my life, I met her before I became this but unfortunately nothing ever happened between us because I went down in the ice and she moved on and got married. She's now an old woman with dementia and she has no idea who I am at times" he explains "I'm sorry to hear that Steve" I respond "it's okay" he replies "anyway moving on. Since the little guy is born, me and Bruce should run some tests on him while we're here" Tony says clearing his throat "Tony I don't think now is a good time to do that. I would like to wait a little while before having any sort of tests being run on my son" I respond "I respect that. I can always pop back down some other time" Bruce comments "that will be great only me and Kol will not be here as we will be at the safe house with Gideon" I respond "that's fine, I can go there" Bruce replies "if you three are moving to the safe house, what's going to happen with Loki?" Natasha asks "he's gonna come with us. I can't exactly leave him here and I'm supposed to be watching him" I respond "speaking of which. Where is he?" Clint asks "upstairs, being anti-social and what not" I respond "probably best if you keep him up there as he really ticks the other guy off" Bruce suggests "you don't have to refer to him as the other guy Bruce.. The hulk, he's called the hulk, don't be afraid to say his name" I respond "sorry, bad habit" he replies "it's okay" I respond "well I'm heading out to meet my girlfriend. Elijah I will see you later" Klaus announces as he heads to the door "have fun but don't forget to wear protection unless you want to give Hope a sibling" Kol jokes "oh piss off" Klaus scolds "language" Steve scolds making Klaus go beetroot red in the face and he clears his throat and looks down as he leaves the room. "I like you" Elijah comments with a smirk at having witnessed his brother go embarrassed after being scolded by a soldier about his bad language. "You guys should come over more often. Things get entertaining" Hayley comments "we wish we could but we have missions and other life problems going on" Natasha replies making me frown. "Is everything alright guys?" I ask "oh, yeah. Everything's fine except I'm currently having to deal with a new terrorist threat" Tony responds "why is it you always seem to have terrorists, ex con men or corrupt businessmen come after you?" I ask  "it's because I'm so awesome they wish they were me" I respond making me and the rest of the Avengers snort. "Yeah right" Natasha retorts rolling her eyes making me giggle. "Excuse me. I have to take a call. It's my wife" Clint says as his phone goes off "stay near the compound, don't go outside. There are some unpleasant people in New Orleans" Kol advises "thanks" Clint responds as he jogs out of the living room to answer his wife's phone call. "So what else is going on with you lot?" I ask "I'm now dating Pepper Potts" Tony announces making me smile "aw, that's great news. Congratulations, don't screw it up" I respond making the rest of the avengers chuckle "What makes you think I'm gonna screw up?" he asks "because you're Tony Stark and screwing up is often what you do, no offense" Natasha comments making me giggle as Tony sticks his tongue out at her like a child. "You see? This is why I made you lot my sons godparents" I say pointing at each of them "yeah, we are a little cuckoo aren't we?" Tony responds "well you might be but not us. We're completely normal, most of the time" Natasha replies "ohh who gave you feisty flakes for breakfast?" Tony asks making me and Natasha laugh "it's the red hair Tony. Redheads have always been feisty" I respond "not quite true. You're quite feisty and you don't have red hair" Kol comments "well Asgardian's are naturally feisty. Well most of us anyway" I respond as Clint walks back in "hey guys, I have to hit the road. My wife needs me home" he says "I'll come with, I need to get back to  the lab" Bruce speaks up "see you later Dr Banner" I say as he leaves with Clint. "We'll stay here for a while if that's alright with you guys?" Steve asks "of course. Elijah and Kol why don't you two go and make some tea for our guests" Rebekah suggests Elijah and Kol don't even try to protest and just get up and leave the room without any fuss. I like having the other Avengers around, they make everything feel better. They're like a second family or would it be third since the Mikaelson are like a family to me now?

What did you think? The Avengers turned up. Davina named the dragons Mushu and Eragon. Tony gave Davina two cute onesies. Davina's made Natasha, Steve, Tony, Bruce and Clint Gideon's godparents. How interesting. What will happen next? Stay tuned for more
