So this my first request!
Thank you very much @starkyremarks !!
I shall try my best to make this perfect for you!❤️

Prompt: "Do I look like I've moved on?"

"What's wrong?" Tony asks, not looking up. Currently, you were both in his lab. He was working on adding something new to his suit and he seemed pretty engrossed. His hair was sticking out in random places and his white tank top was dirty. You didn't even know the last time he actually slept.

"What makes you think something's wrong?" You fire back, slightly furrowing your eyebrows as you cross your arms.

"Cause you never come in here unless something's wrong or you want something and guessing by your stance, I'd say you're mad." He says, taking a quick glance at you.

You immediately put your arms to your side and loosen your shoulders.

"Your (E/C) eyes still have flames and you're pouting. Clearly you're mad, even though you don't think you look mad." He says, gesturing his wrench at you.

You scoff and roll you eyes, making him blow air out of his nose with a smirk.

"Look, I'm just here to ask if you're going to be joining us for dinner." You say.

"No. I'm busy. Thanks for the offer though." He says, going back to work.

"Your loss." You mumble under your breath as you shrug your shoulders. You turn on your heels, heading for the door.

"Look, (Y/N), why are you really here?" He asks, getting your attention.

You pause, your grip tightening on the handle of the door. It would be so easy to just walk away and ignore the pain in your chest. It would be easier to just suffer in silence than to say what was really bothering you.

"That's all. Natasha just wanted to know how many plates to set out." You say, not looking over your shoulder. But even you didn't believe it. It was obvious that you weren't here to plan dinner.

"Sure. And I suppose Bruce wants to know if I'll be joining you guys for a game of badminton afterwards." Tony fires back. You turn around just in time to see him cross his arms over his chest.

You had been trying to bring up the subject multiple times to him, but it never seemed right. The timing was off or there were too many people around. And when you did seem to find the time to get him alone, you couldn't force yourself to ask. It seemed to personal and none of your business.

"I'm waiting, (Y/N)." He says, his brown eyes meeting yours. "What is the problem?"

"There's no problem." You say with a forced laugh.

"There is too. Now let it out before I make Wanda get it out of you." He demands. Just his tone shows that he was serious. He places his hands on the counter and arches an eyebrow at you.

He wasn't going to let you leave without saying why you were really here.

You take a deep breath and toss your head back. You run your fingers through your (H/C) hair. It was now or never. "So, how long have you been seeing each other?" You sigh, crossing your arms over your chest.

"A few weeks." He answers, his voice soft.

"Who is she?" You shrug, biting on the inside of your cheek.

"A girl from the coffee shop down the street. Nobody you'd know." He says. Tears were pooling in your eyes and your chest was tightening. Already he had moved on. He was looking at new girls and forgetting about you.

"Oh."

That's all you were able to say without completely melting down.

He looks down, fumbling with his contraption. "I thought it was okay to start seeing new people. I thought you had moved you."

"Do I look like I moved on?" You scoff, shaking your head.

"I'm sorry. I thought we broke up." He says, narrowing his eyes. "And if I remember correctly, it was you who said that we should take a break."

"Taking a break is not the same thing as breaking up." You argue. "I just needed time to understand everything. I can't go from being a stranger, to coworker, to teammate, to girlfriend in less than six months."

"So I'm just supposed to sit around and wait until you figure out if you want to go out with me? Gee, that's real convenient, (Y/N)." He scoffs, rolling his brown eyes.

"No."

"Then what am I supposed to do?"

"I don't know!" You exclaim, shrugging your shoulders. "I just . . . I can't stand the idea of you being with someone else. It tears me apart and I know it's my own fault. I shouldn't have pushed you away. I'm the one that called it off and I shouldn't be complaining about the consequences."

You let out a long sigh, shaking your head as tears run down your cheeks. "This is my own fault." You mumble. You chuckle, your shoulders shaking. "God, I'm so stupid."

As you began to fully sob, a pair of arms grab you. You're tightly pulled against him, your face pushed into his shoulder. "(Y/N)," He softly breathes. "I'm sorry. I know this was hurting you and I wanted to get revenge. This is my fault. I've caused you all this pain to let out my own anger."

"Tony, please. I--" You begin.

"I didn't even like her. I just wanted you to know how much you had hurt me. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I want to be with you, really, I do." He says, running a hand through your hair. You continue to gently cry, feeling safe inside his arms again.

He begins to mumble sweet nothings into your ear as he kisses your head.

Once you were calm, you turn and look into his brown eyes. "Does this mean we're back together?" You quietly croak.

"Does this mean we're back together?" He repeats, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. "Of course we're back together. I'd be a real dumbass to not take you back." He smiles.

"Well, if we're being honest, I was the dumbass for pushing you away." You chuckle.

"Well, that just means you're my dumbass." He smiles before kissing your forehead.
