A waterfall cascades into a deep pool. Sokka is sitting on a rock studying a scroll while Momo observes from his shoulder. Toph splashes her feet from the pool's edge, while Aang swims on his back. Aang encases his body in a block of ice, floating along peacefully. Katara is on the top of the cliff with Katzumi who is dragged by her hand
"No Katara!" Katzumi pleads But Katara drags her, pushing her in front of her at the edge of the cliff.
"Calm down it's not that deep" Katara said scooting the girl closer to the cliff
"That's what I'm scared of" Katzumi quickly stated before being pushed off. She screamed in terror and Katara jumped in as well
"Waterbending bomb! Yeah!" She yells
Katzumi and Katara send up a massive column of water that washes Aang ashore, shattering his ice block. As water drenches them all, Toph and Aang laugh with delight.
"Sure, 5000 year old maps from the spirit library, just splash some water on 'em." Sokka groaned
"Sorry"
Katara emerges from the pool as she says this, wringing water out of her hair. She then uses a waterbending technique to draw the water out of the map Sokka is holding up.
Katzumi also emerges in her hair covering her face.She flips it over not bothering to dry it.
Everyone gathers around as Sokka spreads the map out on the ground.
"so, did you figure out what route we're gonna take?" Katara asks
"Okay. We just got out of the desert, so we must be around here, and we need to go to Ba Sing Se, which is here. It looks like the only passage connecting the South to the North is this sliver of land called the Serpent's Pass." Sokka explains
"You're sure that's the best way to go?" Katzumi asks
"It's the only way, I mean it's not like we have Appa to fly us there." Sokka says obviously being oblivious of what happened the past couple days
"Shush up about Appa. Can't you at least try to be sensitive?" Katara says
"Katara, it's ok. I know I was upset about losing Appa before, but I just want to focus on getting to Ba Sing Se, and telling the Earth King about the solar eclipse." Aang calmly says stunning the group.
"Oh, well, ok. I'm glad you're doing better."
"Then to Ba Sing Se we go, no more distractions." Just as Sokka finishes saying this, a trio of Earth kingdom civilians appear in the background
"Hello there fellow refugees!"

"So, are you guys headed to Ba Sing Se too?" Aang asks
"Sure are, we're trying to get there before my wife Ying has her baby." Than rubs her large belly
"Great, we can travel through the Serpent's Pass together." Katara says. The three travelers react with horror.
"The Serpent's Pass?! Only the truly desperate take that deadly route." Ying says fearfully
"Deadly route.Great pick, Sokka." Katzumi says
