"Oh shit... Well that's awkward...", you laugh, looking down at your sweatpants with a blush casted over your face.

Jesse shrugs, nudging you with a smirk on his face, "It's not a big deal.", he chuckles and nudges you playfully.

"You don't think it's weird?"

Jesse shakes his head, laying back, "Not really, my parents think we are dating."

You swallow, looking at him while he picks up your gameboy, turning it on. "Wait really?" Nodding, Jesse playing the video game, simply replying with a short, "Uh huh."

Confused by his shortness with you, you just drop the topic, making your move to stand up and sit back at your desk. As you began standing, Jesse pulls you back by the black shirt you wore.

You gasp as you fall back into Jesse, his right arm wrapping itself around your shoulder, "Jeez I came in here to hang out with you, Y/n, the least you can do is watch me play your nerdy game." he mutters, your head spinning. Since when did your friend become so rash in his actions?

-

About twenty minutes had come and past with you nestled in Jesse's side, watching him play the Xbox as the moon began to peer through your curtains.

"Jesse, you should probably go home dude.", you say, looking up at him as he seemed to never peel his eyes from the screen of the TV.

"Just ten more minutes, I'm too comfortable to move!" He whined.

After a few mintues, he tossed the game controller beside him as he wrapped you in both of his arms, pulling you close to him like he was holding a teddy bear instead of an actual person.

Squirming you laugh as he starts talking with a fake German accent, "Nien, you will never escape liebling!" You both roll around on your bed, in a fury of laughs and kicks.

Now tuckered out, you ease up on Jesse, rolling off of him as you try to catch your breath, your eyes watery from laughter.

"Jesse?"

"Yeah?"

"What's a liebling?"

Jesse laughs, "I'm not telling you, nerd." He jokes, sitting up and slouching over your resting form.

"No really, what's it mean?", you ask him, nudging his side while he stares down at you.

It fell silent between the two of you, his eyes fixated on your face that was flushed a light pink.

"Do you ever think about what it would be like to date?"

The question took you by surprise. Of course you thought about dating, after all you were like any other teenage girl. You thought about what it would be like to have someone to hold you when you were sad. What it'd be like to hold hands with someone, fingers laced between fingers; you wanted to know why that seemed so intimate. Or what it would be like to kiss someone with a passion that was so firey it could cause a forest fire.

Of course you thought about dating.

"Well yeah, but no one wants to date me. I'm a loser."

"You aren't a loser." "Come on Jesse, we both know I'm a loser."

Jesse rolls his eyes at you as he brings his knees towards his chest.

You watch his actions carefully, "Why'd you ask?" Jesse shrugs, playing with his jeans, "I don't know, I guess I was just kind of curious."

You snicker, tugging on his shirt to get his attention back on you, "Do you think about dating?"

Jesse's head spins to look down at you, your (eye color)-ed eyes gazing up at him.

As Jesse sat there and stared at you he couldn't help but feel guilty. You were his best friends little sister for fuck sakes. But he couldn't help the fact that every time he looked at your eyes he saw the whole damn universe in those beautiful orbs of yours. Or that everything you did just seemed so perfect to him that he just wanted that to be his. He wanted everyone to know, that this girl, no matter how flawed or quirky you were, that he was proud to be in love with you; he wanted to call you his.

"Yeah. I think about dating a lot."

"Who?"

Jesse stared at you as you looked at him with that curious look of yours that made his heart skip a beat.

"What?", he asks, almost in defense as his hands become clamy with nervousness.

"Who do you think about dating?"

You sit up, keeping eye contact with the your friend who now fell silent. The atmosphere in the room had changed immensely. You both sat staring at each other. It was rather unnerving, which was out of the normal as you both were usually very comfortable with one another.

As each second passes, the more space begins to shrink between the two of you.

You noticed the familiar pounding of your heart in your chest that usually occurred when the older boy was around, when he'd look at you or pay you special attention, make sure you never felt left out in your little trio.

You divert eye contact shyly, Jesse's hand coming up to the side of your face to gently caress it.

Inches away from his face, you look up again into Jesse's eyes that were glassy with emotion.

"Are you cry-"

"Can I kiss you?"

Your eyes went wide. What if you didn't do it right? Jesse was older, he must have kissed a girl before. Now it was your turn to be nervous.

You breath in, searching for your voice that had caught in your throat.

"You can."

It was like two stars colliding when your lips met. It was weird of course, good, but weird.

You both fumbled, lips locked, unknowing of what to do in this intimate moment. Soon enough, the nervousness on both ends melted away and a sort of effortlessness set in.

Minutes passed as you both basked in the raw sensuality of the kiss.

You were the first to pull away, having lost your breath. You sat there, so close to Jesse that you could feel his breath tickle at your neck as his breathing quickened.

"Darling."

"...huh?"

"Liebling means darling."

Your mouth forms a small 'o' as you nod, looking back at Jesse to see he was still staring at you with a look of admiration.

You laugh, the nervousness that the butterflies in your stomach had caused you before melting away as your current situation began to feel increasingly natural.

Reaching up to put a hand on Jesse's shoulder.

"You're a dumbass." You say, laughing as Jesse perks up, smirking.

"Yeah, but am I your dumbass?"

You smile sweetly at him, nodding at his ridiculousness. "Yeah, you're my dumbass, dumbass."

Jesse nods, gaining a bit of cockiness as he begins to litter your face with small little kisses. This to you, to Jesse; this was bliss.

Bliss, sadly, was interrupted by the door opening. Your brothers y'all figure standing in the doorway. "Y/n, have you seen Jesse, he's been in the bathroom for like two hours-"

He stops himself as you quickly push Jesse back, smiling to your sibling, as his hands ball up into fists, his face contorted into that of pure anger. He lunged at Jesse, who was quick to get to his feet and scramble past Dele, who chases after him.

"I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW Y/N!"

"wHAT WERE YOU DOING ON MY SISTERS BED?!"
