I am so sorry if I offend anyone that is muslim. I don't know very much about Islam. I am trying not to offend people.

•••••••••••

Today is mine and Mesut's four-year anniversary. I have never been so in love before with someone. Since I'm Muslim, my parents wanted to arrange a marriage for me. Since I found Mesut, they said they will accept it, as long as he respects me. I am in the mirror putting my hijab on when someone knocks on the door.

"Just a minute." I yell towards the door.

I quickly put on my hijab, making sure it's even before answering the door. I rush to the door and open it to see Mesut standing there with a huge smile.

"Hello beautiful." Mesut greets, coming into my house and giving me a hug.

"I am almost ready. Just have to get my shoes on." I say.

"Take your time beautiful."

Since it is Ramadan, me and Mesut cannot eat until the sun goes down. Because of that, we are going on a walk on the beach. I don't mind. I think it is more pleasant and peaceful than sitting in a restaurant with a bunch of people around.

"I am ready my handsome king." I smile.

"Well let's go my beautiful queen." He grabs my hand and we head out the door.

(That is actually Mesut👆)

"Why are you staring at me?" He ask with a smirk on his face.

"You are just so handsome. I don't know how I got so lucky." I smile as he grabs my hand

"Well baby, when I first saw you, I thought you were the most beautiful girl in the world. Then, when I found out you were Muslim, that was a bonus. I hardly find beautiful Muslim girls that are single. I am the one that got lucky." He says as he kisses the back of my hand.

"You're such a sweet man."

"Yeah, you're sweet man." He winks.

Soon, we arrive to the beach. We take our shoes off and start walking in the sand. As we walk, I see people, mainly girls, look at me in disgust. I just roll my eyes and ignore them. I am used to the hate. Most of it is because I am dating Mesut, and the rest is because I am a Muslim woman.

"Baby, just ignore them. They are haters. They're just mad that they can't be a beautiful girl like you." Mesut says, squeezing my hand.

After an hour of walking, we decide to have a seat in the sand close to the water. We watch as the sunsets in the distance quietly.

"So," Mesut says breaking the silence. "The sun has set. Would you like to go pray then get something to eat?" (Once again, I am sorry if this is wrong. I don't know all the rules and when to pray during Ramadan.)

"You read my mind." I cheer as wet and up and hug.
