Weeks passed and finally it was late January, and the second task was that day. It was a normal day. The task wouldn't start till the end of classes but that wasn't what 5 of the Golden group were thinking about. They were worrying over how 3 of them had been gone since breakfast.

Percy, Hermione and Ron were all missing. And they knew exactly were they were. But it made Harry freak out. He got ahold of the champions, to find out that Hermione would be Fleur taken, as Cho would be for Cedric. While Percy would be Victors. Meaning Harry was going to have to save his best friend. But he was more worried about them all. He wanted to be able to take them all out if he got there first, not caring if the rules said otherwise. He wouldn't let the other champions fail.

Meaning that Fleur and Victor were glared at and told to not mess up. Putting more weight onto the twos shoulders. More then they could possibly take.

They stood by the shore all in their swimsuits and that made them hide Fleur, as she was part Veela and exposing that much of herself got her attention she didn't want or need. Ever.

They were all tense as they cast warming spells and made sure everyone was well.

When the shot was fired the other three went straight into the water, as Harry quickly swallowed the slimey plant. He then gasped as he felt the changes immediately and flopped ungracefully into the water, he was sure Percy would doc him points for that.

Once he was in the water he struggled some, before he finally took a breath in and gasped again, as he realized he could breath the water. Through gills that grew on his neck. He touched them before also realizing he had webbed hands and feet. After a moment of sitting there the rest of the group nodded to each other in a final farewell before they started off, Victor faster then all of them then it was Cedric, then Harry himself as he didn't catch Fleur, thinking she may have already taken off.

Harry began swimming, and he couldn't help but feel extra thankful that his brother took the time to teach him how to swim. He really needed to stop whining about it.

He felt the water move just the slightest and heard the sounds of, Well it was something. He turned and looked around in the kelp bed and wondered what it was as he searched. He heard it again and turned. He decided to just continue forward, his heart racing. As he started to hear singing instead he let out a bubble of air in relief before following the sound.

Harry came to a city, all underwater, watching mermaids and mermen watch him. It was a place that was more then beautiful. Yet it was eerie and the mer-people made chills spread out on his skin. He swam carefully through and made sure not to provoke any of them, he saw three floating bodies and swam towards them to find, Hermione, Ron and Cho. No Percy was in sight. He started to freak out till he saw something he wasn't expecting.

Percy was looking away from fawning mermaids, a bubble head charm in place as he glared off, all the while sitting on a throne. A freaking throne! He had a chain on his ankle instead of rope and he was not happy about it. He looked over at Harry and perked up and waved at him happily causing the other mermaids to look over at the shocked brother.

The mermaid with a crown of coral and bones pointed to Ron and he nodded, he knew but he was waiting for Victor to get Percy. And he did, after a few minutes and he went over to Percy, slowly as the mermaids tended and hissed at him. They reluctantly let Percy go, Victor grabbing Percy bridal style, it was a weird sight as Victor had a shark head for well a head.

Harry then went towards Ron, nodding to Cedric who came out of the sea weed bed, grabbing Cho and then racing back to the surface. Harry decided to wait for Fleur. He cast a Tempus and found it had nearly been an hour and the gillyweed would wear off if he didn't hurry. He glanced at Hermione then the weed. Before looking around, using a cutting spell he grabbed Hermione as well and raced forward till he found his legs being dragged down by kelpies. And man did they hurt.

He pushed them forward and shot a spell down at the little sharp blue people and then another to make himself shoot up after being dragged down some.

He gasped as he realized his gillyweed had passed minutes ago. He looked forward to see Ron helping Hermione onto the boat, Fleur bloody and scratched up helping her up while continuously apologizing that she couldn't do anything. Percy pointed Harry out and people cheered.

Percy dove back into the water after putting the towel back down and swam over to his clearly exhausted brother, who was also bleeding from small cuts on his arm. "Harry! You did it!" Percy laughed as he hugged his brother, willing the water to help them float without being to obvious.

Harry laughed as he hugged back with one arm keeping his other to help them float. "I guess I did."

"Harry, Percy! Get back on deck now!" Draco yelled as he glared halfheartedness at the two of them. Holding two towels ready for them both.

Giggling Percy helped his brother over to the wooden appendage in the water. Helping his up the ladder and then heaving himself back up only to be immediately tackled into a towel.

"Don't you dare jump into the water again Jackson." Draco said as he helped dry the black hair of Percy's, making it wilder.

"I won't, I won't. Promise." He said laughing as he let him do his fussing.

Hermione instantly hugged Harry, and Harry her. "Thank gods your all right Harry."

"You and Percy both with the gods thing," he laughed. "But yeah, I'm alright Mione." He smiled into her shoulder.

Fleur came up with a frown. "I'm zo zorry Arry, I really tried. Thoze kelpays really did a number on me." She said as she looked down, holding her towel close to her marked body.

"Don't be, you tried. Everything turned out well in the end anyway. Okay? So don't apologize, I'm sure Hermione agrees." He looked to the blushing blonde only to smirk at her, getting a glare in return.

"Thank you Arry, Thank you Mione." She said with a smile as she looked up, before being pulled away by her younger sister.

Harry looked around, and he couldn't help but smile. Everything did turn out well, and no ones lost their lives yet. Ron was up and getting smothered by his older brothers and younger sister. While Hermione got smothered in attention by Fleur after she herself was able to part from her gaggle of girls from her school making sure she was okay. Cedric and Cho were being looked over by Madam Pomfrey, then there was Krum laughing it up with Blaise and Luna. Neville not far behind. Percy was being hugged to death by Draco.

Wait a second, Percy!

Harry went off to stop Draco from smothering his brother to death, then yelled at the platinum blonde boy, forgetting to stop his jinx in the making.
