A/n: last night, I went to a book store. While I skimmed the shelves for what I was looking for, I saw a book. It was a small hard covered thing. It looked interesting. It was a collection of what different people, from different age groups, learned from life.

There was a five year old; "I've learned that goldfish don't like Jell-O"

And a forty six year old; " I've learned that anticipation is often better than the real thing"

So I bought the book, and wrote my name on the upper right corner of the first page. And wrote on the lower left corner of the last one

"I've learned that somethings are done unconditionally, and they require great sacrifices"
—age 18.

What have you learned in your life? Vote and let me know in the comments.

And yeah... enjoy...:)

Forgetting is a blessing
A blessing that I lack
What I throw away comes
And hits me in the back

I fall down
Get hit twice
Broke down
Like crushed ice

How can they say
Words do not hurt
They hurt more
Than a salted burn

All I see are
Deceiving acts
Makes no sense
Whatever facts

Running in circles
Round and round
And running fast
Chased by a hound

At the end of
The staircase
A new flight
Of steps we face

Stagger and tremble,
But we move forward
Then crumble to bits
With out a fore word

Every day the same
Cuts we stitch
Then cut 'em open when
Day and night switch

Simple names became
Apple of of discord
I'm not like her
For the record

I burned my boats
And jumped ashore
And didn't think
Twice before

When I gave in
I gave all up
Every hope
Keeping me up

And that's why
When I fell down
I didn't just
Bust my crown

I burned in the
Fire you made
Till I was black
—The deepest shade

Then heavy boots
Stepped down on me
Then acid clouds
Rained down on me

All got in turn
Were just words
'Said they were
Tincture to my hurt

The cuts close
They say they do
It's the old ones
Not ones anew

The new cuts
Are fragile too much
They open up
At a slight touch

They say time heals
I'm then waiting
Not showing hurt
Not at all hating

'Just sit and watch
The blood flow
Waiting for a touch
To make my skin glow

Wait for a Knight
And not a king
For sounds of hooves
Not birds that sing

All the things
That I regret
I'm waiting for
Me to forget....
