Idk Nora's birthday sooo.... just 2024.

Ever birthday in the west allen home was always special. Barry and Iris loved celebrations for birthdays, babies, or just beating a big bad.

Today was Nora's 4 birthday. Barry woke up early because he wanted to plan everything for her party later. It was her family party. More like Barry's Pity party. He was nervous because this is his last birthday celebration with Nora. Before he disappears.

Everyone promised they wouldn't bring it up when they came. Nora is yet to know and Barry wants to be the one to tell her.

He just doesn't know how.

"Good morning daddy!" Said Nora as she sped into Barry making her breakfast. "Good morning munchkin." Barry smiled instantly seeing his smile on Nora.

He sped over to her and picked her up and rested her on his hip. He kissed her forehead and said "Happy birthday sweetheart." He tried not to break down in tears, for this is the last time he'll say that.

"Thank you." She smiled up at him and looked at the pancakes cooking. "You made my birthday pancakes!" She giggled and clapped.

"How could I forget?" Barry said as he picked up the spatula and rested Nora on the counter.

Nora always wanted to be like her dad. She always thought he was so fascinating the day he gave her her first bath. Barry didn't mind it, but he thought that Iris' job would be more interesting, besides the being the flash part.

Nora loved being a speedster like her dad. They would go on runs very often to train Nora for when she's a superhero. Barry tries to fit in training now because who will she have when he's gone to help? No one else has super speed at star labs at the moment with Wally with the legends and Jessie on earth-2.

"Good morning babies!" Iris said as she walked into the kitchen to see Barry in his CCPD sweatpants and star labs t shirt and her daughter in her purple onesie.

"Good morning mommy! It's my birthday!" Nora smiled a Barry smile. The contagious one.

"How could I forget! Happy birthday honey." Iris kissed her cheek and went over to Barry.

Nora wasn't looking at them so Iris spanked her husbands butt. "Well good morning to you too." Barry smiled and laughed at Iris' actions to him. "Good morning babe." Iris pulled down his shirt to bring her closer to kiss her.

"You're gonna make me burn my baby's pancakes!" Barry exclaimed laughing as Nora looked over.

"You're baby. Well she wasn't you're baby when she woke us up last Monday." Iris scoffed and smiled at her husband.

"That's different." Barry whispered with a smug face as iris smacked his arm as he flinched.

"Go sit down. I got this covered." Barry said as he put the pancakes on Nora's special birthday plate.

"When will we eat cake!?" Nora asked jumping up and down as iris picked her up and sat her on her lap.

"Tonight, when all your friends and family are coming!" Iris tickled her stomach.

Barry our the pancakes in front of Nora with a glass of apple juice and a scoop of cookie dough ice cream.

"Thanks daddy!" Nora Yelled and iris cut her pancake for her. Nora ate it so fast...she got that from Barry.

"Whose coming tonight?" Iris asked Barry as he leaned on the island counter in front of his girls.

"Caitlin, Cisco, Ralph, Cecile, Joe, Jenna, Maybe Wally, Sherloque And Maybe Harry." Barry answered counting his fingers.

"Wow hear that Nora? All these people are coming to celebrate your 4 birthday!" Iris tickled Nora as she was drinking her juice.

"Yay! More presents!" She Yelled shooting her arms up. "See you got that from your mommy." Barry pointed out as iris laughed.

"I'll leave you two alone. I'm gonna get dressed." Iris said as she picked up Nora from her lap and carried her off to Barry.

Barry told iris he was going to tell Nora about him disappearing today. He wanted to tell her on his own. One on one. One speedster to another.

Barry picked up Nora and carried her to the bay window of the loft.

Barry held Nora so he was laying up against the wall of the window, looking out to the side to see the city, and Nora facing forward on him. He didn't want to see her face when he told her what was going on.

He held her close to his chest as he hummed 'Running Home to You'. That was Nora's favorite song, ever since Barry sang it when she was born.

"Daddy. What's going on? Why is it so quiet?" She asked looking out the window to the big city.

"Nora, I need to talk to you about something important to me and your mommy." Barry said as he had to turn her. He needed her to understand. He had to see her face when he told her. He must.

"What is it daddy? Are you having a another baby?" She asked hopefully.

"Um. No sweetie this is serious." Barry said as he held his Daughter's little hands in his big ones.

"Okay. What?" She asked smiling.

"Nora, your older self from the future came to see me and mommy. You told us something terrible that me and mom didn't want to hear." Barry started saying with a shaky voice.

"What did I say?" She asked confused.

"So there's an article that your mom wrote about this year. It was about the flash going missing. So in a few months, it's slightly possible I will go missing." Barry said as a tear slipped.

"What? Why? When? Where? Who?" She asked rambling questions.

"I don't know why honey. I don't. I fight the reverse flash and I disappear. It's supposed to happen in April. Nora I'm so sorry." Barry broke down at the last sentence.

"Daddy. Daddy!" Nora called as Barry hung his head and cried.

"Daddy answer me!" Nora Yelled at him.

"Yes sweetie." Barry said breathing heavily.

"It's okay. It's okay. Everyone at star labs will help this not happen!" Nora said hopeful.

"I don't know about that Nora, it's too late to change the future. It's gonna happen baby." Barry hugged her as she was in shock.

"I don't want to grow up without you daddy." Barry held onto his tight.

"I know you don't and I don't want to either baby girl. But I have to save you and your mommy." Barry sighed.

"Daddy. Is that why you've been acting weird. Because these are your last days with us?" She asked.

"Well sweetie. Your daddy always acts weird." Barry laughed. "But yes. That's why." Barry said.

"It's okay. Where do you go?" She asked.

"I don't know sweetie. I just...go." Barry sighed rubbing his daughters back.

"I love you daddy, but me and mommy will be okay. I promise." Nora said up to him.

"I know you will. My strong girls. I always knew you would." Barry smiled sadly.

"I love you Nora." Barry kisses her head.

"I love you." Nora sighed and held his hand.
