Forever (Len x Reader)

XI: The Oracle Part I

"But all of these doesn't make sense! It isn't what I read in the history books at all! They displayed Anastasia as a villain what is this?" I shouted, in confusion and anger. Len sighed.

"I know, you can't accept this now, but you will, one day. It's all too much for you to learn yet. So I'll let you learn slowly. For now, I'll let you rest." He proceeded to open the door.

"You're going already then?" I asked. He nodded without looking back.

"If I asked you to stay, would you?" I asked. He nodded again.

Then, with that, we stayed quiet but he seemed a little less tensed.

"Y/n, how have you lived your life up until now?"

"Well, I grew up knowing music all my life so I learnt music at a very young age, became well known, acquainted with Rin and Miku, joined Assasinators and so on." I said, counting on my fingers.

"Hmm, I see. I guess you have fun singing don't you?" He asked. I nodded.

"Of course, if not I wouldn't continue! I wanted to be like Hatsune Miku, a popular idol and nice too." I said with my eyes glittering. Len giggled.

"Miku become an assassin for this country, her identity is still being hidden for safety purposes."

"I see. Why did you agree to stay anyway even though you said you were busy?" I asked.

"Huh? Work? That can wait." Len sighed. I laughed.

"Well, I guess I can stay here for the whole day again like just now." He took a step to my bed and then lied in there.

Soon after, I heard a knock the door and I asked them to come in. Vel and Zes burst in looking so happy, once they saw Len, they shut the door and then left. I chased for the door and opened it.

"Hey! Come in!" I screamed at them.

"Will it be okay? We're not disturbing?" They asked. I nodded.

They went in with Len on the bed. After greeting him, they sat on the chair. Vel ignored him and told me about whatever they were doing today. I felt so happy listening to her. Zes just kept quiet and smiled as he listened to what Vel was saying. Soon, the morning turned to evening and the evening turned into night, the time ended too soon.

"I guess we all have to leave." Zes announced. Vel picked herself up, reluctant to leave me alone.

"I'll stay here with her." Len said. Zes nodded, reluctantly as they left after bidding us goodbye.

"Y/n, I'm...sorry for...angering you.." He apologized, his voice growing softer each time. I was taken aback but still giggled.

"I don't know why you are so conscious but I forgive you." I said.

After that, everything went back to normal. He decided to joke around and told more things about his own life and what he would do. That's when I knew that he was well known for his sword abilities and good looks or so he said. I teased him and he wasn't affected but he was slightly annoyed. I laughed out. He too decided to do the same to me. We had a long laugh in very long while. I don't think he has ever reacted that way to me.

Soon, it was midnight, and we went to sleep.

When I woke up in the morning, Len woke me up and asked me to prepare for classes. I whined saying I didn't want to get yet but he forced me to wake up. He helped me to take my clothes out and he put it on my table. He helped me out of the bed and I went to clean myself up. After that I changed into my clothes. He escorted me all the way to the lesson room where I was going to have lessons with Kaito. He told me that he would meet me later for the last lesson.

"Y/n, today we start our lessons on The Oracle. Just a bit of it though." Kaito smiled.

I perked up for a while but then I grew demotivated straightaway, I was not excited to hear what he was going to say or even teach. I bet whatever he was going to teach is not going to be fun at all. After what happened with Len yesterday too. I can't, I'm not ready for it yet. What makes them think I'm ready for everything yet? They're asking for the impossible. I looked down at my hands and clenched my fists. Kaito came to me and held on my fists. He seemed like a father with deceiving eyes trying to calm down a child but unfortunately, I was too smart for that. I snapped.

"What makes you think I'm ready for all of these?"

"Of course, I don't think you're ready for anything at all." Kaito smiles again.

"Where did Len stop previously?" He continued.

A/N: I'm tired so Imma go pass out. I'm so sorry for the late update. Please forgive me lol. I hope I can update tomorrow since I'm quite addicted to my game yo. God Eater Resurrection is such a good game :^)
