Update: I JUST REALISED THIS WASN'T EVEN STARTED, ANYWAY LET'S GET ON TO IT.
I heard a knock on my door and went to get to it. There appeared Len at the door. I invited him to come in.
"Yes?" I tilted my head.
"You can go back to your usual lessons tomorrow." He said, cold as always but with a slight softness. I guess he hasn't really opened up to me yet. I nodded at him and then kept quiet. We stayed like that for a while.
"Don't you have to go?" I asked him, reluctantly. He nodded.
"It doesn't matter, I can stay with you as long as I want to." He shrugged.
I responded with an 'Oh' and then continued to daydream or think about things I wanted to. He stayed quiet obviously, for who knows why? I don't even know why he's here. I pleaded for time to come faster slightly. I wished Vel or Zes was here to accompany me instead.
"That reminds me, where's my bodyguards?" I asked.
"Busy." He responded, shortly, making me feel uncomfortable each time. Then, we stayed quiet again. Why is time passing so slow?
"Y/n, of course you know The Oracle, right?" He asked, I nodded, looking at him.
"Did you know, Anastasia, was a part of The Oracle?" He said, I gasped.
"But that-"
"Wasn't written in the history books, I know." I gulped.
"I'll tell you everything about The Oracle to speed up the lessons a little. I have the authority to do so." He commented. He turned around to face me.
"It's a long time ago story. Anastasia was by default, a noble since she was born in one. Your mother, was her sibling but because of a major mistake, she was banished to the human world, never to return, and her memories were erased. This world was supposed to exist after the war on the human world but that is just a rumor, this world existed before that. When Anastasia grew up, she became a splendid Musician. She was then recruited to The Oracle so that they could use her abilities to both save and protect the world. We are mages by default after all. The Oracle was a great group before it - the leader was forcefully killed and the throne was forcefully taken - then, everything changed from there. The Oracle started to spread false teachings. Anastasia believed that these teachings were real and followed along, until one day she heard something." Len ended there for a while, I gulped again while bathed in cold sweat.
"'Let's start a war and unite these two worlds together! The people here are sacrifices, for my ultimate creation! The Creator will pass judgement upon this people and then we will be born a new! When that time comes, we will become the perfect rulers of the new world!' Anastasia heard this and then she planned for an escape. She tried to gather people to believe her but unfortunately, everyone was too busy with the cult to even care what she was saying. She met a man who finally believed her." He continued.
"He started a relationship with her, promising to protect her forever but Anastasia had to betray him. That's why she was bestowed Greensleeves for her story." I continued and gasped. Len nodded.
"There was one more tragedy, kept away, for something to be gained, someone must sacrifice. The other tragedy was Gumi's mother. You know, I'm pretty sure you must be asking but, these people can be immortal except they have to die a lot of times before they actually die. Your mother, died 4 times, she will grow old for her last life and die as a normal human being. Anastasia can be reborn and Gumi's mother is dead forever. Anastasia lives up to her name. One that is to be reborn anew."
