Interview

The next couple weeks dad was really busy. I barley saw him. He went from meeting to meeting. Every. Single. Day.

I was bored out of my mind so I went into Carter's room.

"CARTAHHHHHHH" I screamed

"ABIGAILLLLLLLL" he screamed back

"Don't call me Abigail" I said glaring at him

"Ok Abby" he paused "Gail"

I jumped on his back and screamed at the top of my lungs

"SHUT UP ABBY" dad screamed. I jumped down and rolled my eyes. Carter put his hands on my shoulders and had me sit on the bed

"He has a lot going on right now, please don't mind him" carter said

"I'm trying my best trust me" I said

I walked out and went into dads room

"Hey dad" I said walking in

He looked up for a second and said hi

I sat down next to him. He kept typing and I just looked at feet.

"Dad?" I said. He looked up

"Yeah?" he said to me

"I miss you" I said

"What do you mean I see you all the time" he said looking at me

"Yeah but your so busy, we never get to hang out or talk, I dunno I just miss you and im scared you will forget about me" I said not looking at him

He motioned for to come closer. He pulled me onto his lap.

"Abs I'm never gonna forget about you, I promise. I have stuff going on right now for work but once I'm done with that we will have a daddy/daughter day, I promise" dad said hugging me

"I love you daddy" I said hugging him

"I love you too princess" he said holding me

He said he had to get back to work

I went into Hayes room and sat down on his bed

"Hi babe" he said looking up from his phone. I crawled toward him on his bed. He put his arm around me and I snuggled into his chest. He kissed my cheek

"Ab is something wrong?" He said looking at me

"Everyone is so busy now" I said

"I know, their careers are taking off and they are hardly home" Hayes said

"Especially Dad" I added

He nodded and said "but I will always be here with you"

I smiled and kissed him. I moved so I was laying on top of him and he wrapped his arms around me and rested them on my stomach

I put on spongebob and we watched together till dad came in

"I'm going to a interview, I will be back later on" he said

I nodded and he left. Then I had a need of a hug

"WAIT dad" I screamed jumping up

I ran down the hall and I hugged him

"I love you daddy" I said

He bent down. I hadn't even realized I was crying

"Princess come here" I ran into his arms and he held me

"Peanut I love you so much, I'm sorry we haven't been together that much, would you like to come with me?"

"Yes daddy I want to come" I said

He lifted me up and held me

"Me and Abby are going to a interview" dad said

The boys nodded and me and dad left. A taxi was taking us there so I sat on dads lap. He drew on my back for me the whole ride.

When we got there, they asked dad a whole lot of questions. Then they asked me some. I was really tired so dad picked me up and I started to fall asleep. The last thing I remember is dad talking to some man about joining something called 26MGMT.

Then I closed my eyes and hugged my dad close.
