the last day of school, for jungkook at least.
he was still pissed at his dad for accepting that job, it was a 2 hour drive to the new house located in the oldest village that was still in use.
from what jungkook has heard, from listening in on his parents at night from behind their door, it was for the richest man in the country as of now.

he understood that, but why'd they all have to move?

he said goodbye to all his friends, who he'd likely forget but nevertheless he thought it would be nice.

at the end of the day he threw all his school books in the bin and let go forever. his last words being, "so long hell hole." yet, he was still gonna miss this place, the only place he's known for his seventeen years of living.

he packed the rest of his belongings and shoved them in the car, along with himself and rest of his family. he waved his last goodbye to the house and never looked back.

a new start, a new him. couldn't be so bad, right?

taehyung felt trapped, as he literally was. stuck in his house 24 hours 7 days a week really took a toll on him, he was sad, lonely and felt no excitement.
his life was so empty, he woke up for nothing for no one.

he only had his father and the dumb staff that lived his life for him.

all he did was look out his window as he watched the village age and the people within the town grow.
in all honesty, he never knew what time it was, what year it was or even if it was the 21st century, he never saw the outside world from the outside.

a knock at his door brought him back from his depressing trance. he allowed entrance to the person behind the door. they came in and bowed politely, taehyung only rolled his eyes and stood up from the chair placed next to the window.

"you need something." taehyung asked unamused, as he turned back to look out the window this time standing.
the maid standing at his door shook from the tone. "ah, y-yes. we have a new gardener starting tomorrow, i thought you should know." the maid said.

taehyung slowly turned from facing the window, "hmm... as long as they don't touch my garden, i see no problem."

the maid nodded and bowed again, slightly quivering. "i shall tell him to leave the space alone, thank you sir." the maid said before she left, shutting the door behind her.

taehyung sighed, another staff member yet no friend in sight.

little did he know that in the car driving up the driveway held the person with the power to change everything.
