Jake's POV
We pull into the school parking lot and get out of the car Logan comes and ruffles my hair and says bye and runs off to his friends Erika and I link hands and walk inside the school and to our lockers, then a kid who I've never seen before walks up to us and asks Erika something
??-hey I'm new and I was wondering if you knew where this class is *shows Erika there schedule*
E-oh um come with me and I will show you also what's your name
??-Kyle
E-ok Kyle follow me, I will see you in class Jake
J-um yea ok
She walked away and let go of my hand and I watched them walk away talking until the turned the corner, all the sudden a wave of jealousy washes over me and I punch the locker and everyone looks I shoot them a death glare and they all look away, I then feel a hand on my shoulder and I flinch but turn around and see no one there I go to look back at my locker but before I can it slams shut but no ones there. I grab my bag from the ground and slowly back away, I look back a forth and I notice I'm the only one in the hallway, then I feel some type of force on my chest causing me to stumble backwards, I catch my footing and quickly run to class avoiding what ever was "attacking" me in the hallway. I ended up being the first in class like normal but the teacher was there I just sat down in a random desk taking deep breaths as I feel dizzy and light headed and like I'm going to faint
Te-Jake?
J-hm *deep breath*
Te-you ok? You look really pale
J-I just *deep breath* feel d-dizzy
Te-hm, want to go to the nurse
J-y-yeah
Te-do your ant me to bring you or are you good on your own
J-I'm, good
Te-ok, I will probably see you tomorrow then
J-mhm
I slowly walk to the nurses office but while I'm heading there I text Erika "hey babe I might go home I don't feel good and I'm really pale apparently so I will see you at home I guess I love you bye" after I sent that I looked back down at my phone and it says read 9:13am I sigh because she's with another guys and she's not even answering me I continue walking to the nurses and go inside and sit down and tell her what's wrong with me and she calls dan to come take me home because today he just got home from his business trip, about 15 minutes later he walks in and sighs papers meaning I could leave
We just pulled into the driveway and I'm clutching my stomach because it feels horrible so dan takes my bag for me and helps me inside into mine and Erika's room
J-sorry dan for making you come get me right after a business trip
D-nah it's alright, just call me if you need anything
J-ok
Dan walked out and I just laid there staring at the ceiling bored, until I remembered my uncles box and how I never read anything he wrote yet so I get up and go under the bed and grab the box and unlock it with my key which I thought wasn't a really key that worked to unlock something but I was wrong, I open the box takin out all the pictures and gently put them down beside me making sure they weren't bent or anything I then I grabbed the journal named Best Memories With The Boys , I open it to the first page and start reading
April 23 1999
Dear journal, this is my first entry so sorry if it's bad, anyway today I got to babysit Logan and Jake right now Jake is 2 and Logan is 4 I decided to take them swimming, while we were swimming I taught Logan how to float on his back while Jake was splashing around and floating in his life jacket, after swimming I brought the boys to go get ice cream I got Jake a tiny little bit of vanilla and Logan a small chocolate ice cream cone while I got vanilla as well. As we walked home we seen ducks and Jake tried quacking like them but they ran away and he got fussy which made Logan laugh. When I brought Jake and Logan back home to Pam and Greg they both didn't want me to leave but I had too, when I walked out the door I heard Jake yell and scream for me to come back but I went home, and here I am writing about my eventful day, well hope to write again another day.

As I finished reading that I was smiling the whole time, I then closed the book to read another page another day I put everything back in the box and locked it up and put it back under the bed, the door opened and I was expecting dan to come in but nope it was....
