Chapter Four

Jake's POV
I woke up with something really cold on my face and with my head on someone's lap, I kinda freak out but try not to make noise I start to slowly sit up and a bag of ice falls off my face and onto the floor I look over and see Logan sitting there asleep I was trying to remember why we are here the last thing I remember was getting out of Logan's Jeep. I look around and realize it's still daylight outside I remember that my parents are gone on a trip so I can eat all the food I want instead of starving so I got up and went into the kitchen but while I was walking in the hall I passed a mirror my the bruise that was already there from my dad pushing me to the ground is freaking ten times bigger, I was being the idiot I am and went to touch it
J-FUCK!! OW SHIT!!
L-*runs to Jake* what happened?
J-I don't know but the bruise on my face is ten times bigger and I don't remember getting it, and I woke up on your lap with ice on my face. What happened to me?
L-*sighs* when mom and dad were telling us they were leaving dad started hitting you like 5 times but I stopped him but then you passed out.
J-oh.. well I'm hungry so I'm gonna get food then I'm gonna go up to my room
L-okay
I walked into the kitchen and made myself cereal and ate it at the counter and then I went up to my room and had a shower

While I was showering I couldn't stop thinking about my screwed up life and how yesterday was my first day at school and I'm already getting thrown around.. I got out of the shower but left it running and walked over to the cabinet and opened it and under a box of dental floss was my blade it's stained brown from all the old dried up blood, I walked back into the shower and was about to cut when I started crying silently I slid down the wall and sat there staring at my blade I picked it up again and put it on my wrist and pulled it slowly across I did that about seven times and I felt calm after I got up and put the blade away and washed up my arms and finished washing myself and got out and put gauze on my arms and put on a loose hoodie which used to be my uncles me and my uncle had a really strong relationship and when he died I was miserable he died two years ago when I was 14 he was always there for me he new about what my parents did to me and he would help me get over it but now he's gone.. I finished getting dressed with a black pair of boxers and light grey joggers the I just laid in my bed and stared at the ceiling and ended up falling asleep.

Erika's POV
Me and my friends were walking home and we were passing by a house and we heard yelling and everyone looked over and we say Jake and another kid that's much bigger than him but also has blonde hair I seen him when he was walking with Jake to the principal ps office this morning he must be his brother. But everyone stopped to listen to see what was happening we heard that there parents are going on a business trip then his dad said he had to do something then he punched Jake in the face repeatedly right where his other bruise is but he kept hitting him till the other blonde which I still think is his brother stopped him but Jake fell to the ground not moving. Then the parents left and the other blonde yelled "JAKE JAKE GET UP COME ON" but he didn't get up so he picked him up and went inside
C-well Kade I guess you were right it was his dad who gave him that, that's why he walked away *laughs*
T-guess I feel bad but then I don't so let's keep bullying him because it's fun (bitch 😂)
E-guys I feel like really bad his dad is abusive and just knocked him out
C-come on babe don't be like that
A-yeah babe *mocks chance*
C-Hey! *runs after him playfully*
K-I honestly don't care about the kid so I'm with everyone else
E-whatever babe I got to go home I will text you later *kisses his cheek*
C-ok bye babe
E-bye

I continued walking home thinking about how he was just punched and didn't do anything to move or fight back he just stood there he looked horrified too. Anyway I just need to get home before I get in trouble
E-*walks inside* I'm home!!
An-hi Rik, how was your day?
E-fine
An-ok that's good go up stair and shower and dress nicely and tell Jc to do that too because we are having company over for supper.
E-ok *walks up to Jc's room* *knocks* hey Jc mom said to get showered and dress nicely we are having guests over for dinner.
Jc-ok *shouts from inside his room*

I walk into my room and pick out my outfit before I get into my shower, I walked into the bathroom with my outfit and get undressed and shower. Once Im done I get changed into this
Erika's outfit

And went over to my vanity and did my makeup
Erika's makeup (you choose the lipstick in bad at makeup so you guys choose)

Once I'm done I go downstairs and see my whole family and a different family there were kids but they were like 7-9 so I just sat a quietly ate and answered seem questions they had. When it was over I took the dishes and washed them and went up stairs and changed into comfier clothes

And laid in bed since it was 10pm then Chance txted me,

And with that I fell asleep.
