Chapter Twenty One

One week later

Jake's POV
I wake up to Erika shaking me once I open my eyes I see she's all dressed up and ready to go somewhere but I just roll over and groan
E-come on Jake, remember it's Saturday and we get your cast off
J-oh yeah! *jumps up*
E-*laughs* that's more like it, now it's like 10 in the morning and we leave at 11 so go get ready I will make you some food
J-ok

I walk into the bathroom and undress I look in the mirror and all the bruises and cuts on my face are gone but my eye is still s little bruised I smile because I know I'm getting better, and also the marks from where I was whipped are healing slowly but surely I jump into the shower and once I get out I but on new boxers and take my pills that I still have to take every morning then walk to the closet I grab some dark blue jeans and I'm looking for my uncles sweater but can't find it so I throw on a shirt before going downstairs and look for Erika but no one was home so I grabbed my phone and texted Erika

Blondie🤤❤️-where is everyone?
Rikky😙❤️-oh Jc left to a sleepover and Dan should be home and I went to go buy some cream cheese for you bagels I made
Blondie🤤❤️- oh well do you know where my uncles sweater is?
Rikky😙❤️-um no maybe check in Dans and Jcs room it might if got put in there by accident

I went upstairs into Jcs room and looked for my sweater and it wasn't there then I went into dans room and seen him at his computer I knocked before coming in
J-*knocks* un Dan?
D-yeah Jake
J-I was wondering if you knew where my sweater was?
D-um yes actually
J-can I have it?
D-yup *gets up and walks somewhere in the house and comes back*
D-here ya go

D-and Jake I know you won't want to talk about it but I just noticed the scars on your arms please, please please don't cut again come talk to me

D-ok go get ready bud *ruffles hair*

I walk into mine and Erika's room and put on the sweater and go downstairs and text Logan because I havent seen him since he surprised me with the laptop because he went to Hawaii for a week with Pam and Greg

Loges😊-um no sorry I'm about to go swimming

I sighed and put my phone down and grabbed a blanket and cuddled up on the couch I felt really sad today I don't know why I just laid there till Erika go back she got back 10 mins later and she makes my food and brings it to me and we eat together while watching Tv she had her head on my shoulder and I had my arm around her then we heard a click and we both looked goer and there was Dan taking a picture of us
E-*laughs* what are you doing
D-y'all looked cute
J-*blushes*
D&E- awe your blushing
D&E-hey jinx
D&E- ok shut up
D&E-fine
J-ok ok stop *laughs*
D&E-sorry
J-*sighs and laughs*
E-well Jake it's time to go so grab what you need and let head out
J-alright

I grabbed my phone and said bye to dan and went out to the Tesla and Erika was already in there with it started once I got in we jammed to music and started dancing and singing really loud and having fun once we got there we got out and went in smiling we sat down next to 2 adults but we didn't notice to we were to busy talking then,

Erika's POV
By the sound of the voice I knew who it was it was chances parents fuck what do I do, I will just be nice once Jake turned around and looked at them then quickly looked At me with fear all over his face
E-um hey Mrs. Suttom
M.S= Mrs. Sutton
M.S- how are you
E-um good *notices chances dad glaring at Jake*
M.S-come talk in private and Jake and Moe (random name) can talk
E-um n-
M.S- *grabs her arm and pull her up *winks and whispers in chances dads ear and smirks* come on

When she said come on she aggressively pulled me around the corner and started talking to me all sweetly k kept on trying to go over to Jake because I didn't trust Chances dad then I heard Jake scream and I tried to run over there but she grabbed me and held me so I couldn't move

Jake's POV
Right as Erika left I felt really uncomfortable then chances dad started talking to me rudely and then he waited till there was no one in the room and he got up and stood in front on my and picked me up and threw me over his shoulder and I screamed as loud as I could and I could see Erika struggling to get out of chances mom grip then his dad stated carrying me out and I was screaming trying to get out then I hear a groan and Erika run up to me and tackles chances dad and pulls me away from him then a doctor comes out as he's trying to comfort me and I see chances dad try to punch Erika but she caught the punch and started hitting him in the head multiple times till he was unconscious then I got out of the doctor grip and crawled over to Erika and she pulled me into the biggest hug ever and I cried into her shirt and by now everyone came out and they watched what happened on the surveillance cameras and chances dad was taken away by the cops but the mom just got a fine after I calmed down the doctor took us in
Do-I'm so sorry about that Jake but what are you guys here for?
J-it's fine, and to get my cast taken off
Do-ah yes ok come over here and hop up on this table
J-*gets on the table*
Do-now you might want to hold her hand because this can be scary

He took out a saw and started sawing at my cast as I held Erika's hand and squeezed it and she squeezed it back after about 10 more minutes my cast is off and it feels good to have my hand back then we leave and start heading home and once we walked in there was no one home we went up stairs and say on the bed and stayed quiet until
J-Erika
E-yes Jake
J-thank you
E-for?
J-saving me, if you weren't there I would have gotten taken again t-then I wouldn't be able to see you
E-awe your welcome Jakey *hugs him*

While we were hugging I felt so safe and protected I never felt this way with a girl even though I only had one girlfriend but she was a bitch once we were done looking we pulled apart and looked into each other's eyes I noticed how gorgeous her eyes are then I caught myself leaning in am her leaning in as well the butterflies in my stomach were going crazy and my heart was beating out of my chest then I did it our lips connected I kissed the girl I liked for so god damn long we had like a five second kiss then I pulled back
J-I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to it's just that I liked you I liked you ever since we met and I didn't mean to kis-

I get interrupted by her kissing me agian after 5 seconds she's pulls back
E-I like you too blondie *smiles*
J-so w-will you b-be my girlfriend *asked nervously*
E-yes of course *kisses him passionately*

After that I was so happy I couldn't believe it we got ready for bed and cuddled
J-goodnight babe
E-*smiles* good night baby boy

Once she fell asleep I texted dan

Jake🙂-I did it were together 😊
Dan🙃-good job man I knew you had it in you
Jake🙂-thanks
Dan🙃-so I can come home now?
Jake🙂- yeah well I'm going to bed so good night
Dan🙃-night

And with that I fell asleep with the biggest smile ever
