Erika's POV
I wake up early because today is January 17th Jake's birthday today he will be turning 17, I still can't believe he's older than me, well by 10 months but still, anyway I get up and into the bathroom and take a shower, once I get out I walk into the closet with a towel raped around me and I put on black skinny jeans and a red sweatshirt with black converse and I do light makeup and dry my hair then put it up in a high ponytail, I grab my wallet/purse/bag thing and grab my Tesla keys and look at Jake and smile as he's asleep only half way on the bed, it's 7:30am right now so that gives me like 3 hours to get somethings for Jake
Right now I'm at the store buying a small cake just for Jake and I since dan is gone on another business trip to Mexico.. so then I went to the mall and ended up buying a ... (hehe you don't get to know yet) I really think he's going to love it.. I'm driving home after I went to Starbucks and got us both a drink and by the time I pull into the driveway it's 9:46am so he should still be asleep or he could be awake but probably asleep, I walk in and put everything on the counter but go into dans room and find a birthday present bag to put ... in I walk to our room holding the bag and put it in our closet but behind my clothes so he won't find it and snoop in it I then walk back downstairs and put the cake I bought into the fridge and grab our Starbucks and go back upstairs and into our room, I put his in the night stand but then I get a phone call so I put my down too and go into the hallway and answer
On phone
Erika-hello?
Dan-hey rik
Erika-oh hey
Dan-um I was wondering since I'm not there and it's Jake birthday tell him I said happy birthday and in my closet there's a bag there and it has a camera in it because I know how he always wants to start YouTube when he has time so bought him a camera
Erika-awe dan that's so sweet
Dan-also I know Logan's going to come over and his birthday is a while away but I got him on too so there should be 2 bags actually one for Jake and Logan because I know how he wants to start YouTube too
Erika-damn alright, thanks dan

I walk back into our room and sit down on my phone waiting for him to wake up..
Jake's POV
I wake up with the sun in my eyes I turn over and sling my arm over Erika and pull her closer to me I then hear a giggle and I open my eyes and see her sitting up and I'm hugging her legs and I jump up scared and look at her
E-HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABYYYYY, I cant believe your 17
J-awe thanks baby girl *kisses her* and neither can I
E-I also got you Starbucks
J-ouuu where is it

Erika and I just sit and talk and watch tv on the tv in our room, then I hear the door slam open Erika and I both jump and hold onto each other but notice it's just logan

They ignore me but Erika walks out and Logan closes the door behind her and comes and sits on the bed and takes a box that's the size of a shoe box out of his backpack but it's not a shoebox
L-ok I know you are going to cry so here *hands Jake tissues*
J-um ok
L-alright while I'm talking don't stop me just listen ok?

L-alright so mom or Pam for our whole life she never really hated you, yes she didn't like you as much as she liked me, sorry, but she didn't hate you either she acted horrible and like a shitty mother because she was scared of what dad or Greg would do to her because he said something to her but she wouldn't tell me but she explained this to me when I went to go visit her this month, and she gave me this *holds up the box* she said and I quote "give this to Jake and tell him I'm sorry and he doesn't have to forgive me just tell him I've been saving this to give to him" and she gave me the box I know what's inside it because she told me and I told Erika what's in it.
J-*tears up* so she doesn't hate me
L-no
J-omg wow, anyways *wipes eyes* what's in the box though
L-ok so they key I gave you that's from our uncle, that unlocks this box, this is our uncles box and inside is, Well see for yourself
He hands me the box and I look at him and back down and take the key into my shaky hands and put it in the lock, and it fit perfectly, I turn it and the lock pops open I slowly take it off and looks at Logan again he just nods waiting for me to open the box I slowly open it to see multiple pictures of Logan, our uncle and I together having fun at the park or just at the beach and one was of all of us hunting, I remember those were the best days of my life, I feel one tear fall down my face and I put the pictures beside me and look back into the box and see a journal with a title called Best memories with the boys I look up at Logan confused
L-the boys are me you
J-oh ok
I open the cover and see a full page written I close it and put it beside me because I'm going to read some of it later, I then fine a old crumbled up piece of paper and take it out
L-you can read it but your gonna need these because I cried hard and I can imagine how hard you will cry *hands Him tissues again*
J-o-ok
I open the piece of paper and it says,

Ok so who ever found this keep it or give it to someone else but don't throw it away please well right now I'm in the hospital probably on my death bed because I just got hit by a big rig and I can feel the life slowly being taken out of me but I'm writing this quickly before I die, the doctors here suck they put me in this room leaving me to die but again whoever finds this I'm sorry but it's time for me to go.. I know I will be missed and everything but please try not to cry about it try to be strong I love anyone who I met and loved and became close too, but please tell Pam Paul (they are still married) to protect Jake and Logan from Greg mainly Jake because Logan doesn't get hurt it's mainly Jake but please and tell Jake and Logan Paul that I love them with all my heart and I will forever, and I will be watching over them all the time but right now I can barely write anymore my eyes are closing and I'm dizzy but I love you all and goodbye

Once I finished reading it I burst into tears holding the note close to my chest, I feel the bed moving and hear shuffling then I'm being pulled into Logan's chest for a hug I hug him back squeezing him likes this is the last time I will ever see him, he squeezes me back just as tight
About 10 minutes later I steady my breathing from crying and calm down and pull back and wipe my eyes then I look at Logan's shirt and see a giant wet spot
J-s-sorry about your shirt *laughs softly*
L-huh *looks down and laughs* oh it's fine, but I do got to go I'm being forced into a fucking event on my brothers birthday like what, but anyway let's put this stuff away and head downstairs
J-ok
I put everything back in carefully just how I found it and closed the lid and put the lock on and locked it putting it onto the floor and pushing it on my side of the bed on the floor, Logan and I walk downstairs after I washed my face and put on my glasses because all the crying made my eyes even more blurry
E-hey guys I finished the food
L-ok I will eat but them I got to go
E-ok well dan bought you something Jake and also you Logan, I will be right back *runs upstairs*
L-why would he get me something
J-i don't know
L-hmm I wonder what it is
J-me too *erika runs back in*
E-ok so he told me to record your guys reactions so *turns on her phone and starts recording* and he said to open them at the same time

We open it at the same time and both look at them the our mouth drops open and we look at each other
