Chapter Sixty Four

Jake's POV
As I continue walking I just keep getting colder and colder to the point where my legs stop working and I collapse to the ground and I'm just sitting on the side of the road curled up in a ball waiting for them to come, I go to grab my phone but it died from the cold I sigh and slip it back into my pocket and wait..

About 2-3 hours of me sitting here finally one car passes by but then it stops really fast I just look at it my face red from the cold my teeth chattering the rest of me shaking then two people get out and rush over to me and I realize it's Erika and Logan I smile to myself slightly then Logan comes and puts his hands under my arms and picks me up and carry's me to the yeti and puts me in the backseat, then Erika got into the back seat with me
L-Jake, omg are you ok
J-yeah j-just c-cold
E-here put this on

She hands me my uncles sweater and I slip it on slowly due to the fact my body is numb and hurts, she then grabbed 3 thick blankets and I wrap myself in them all
J-t-thank you
E-your welcome baby, do you want any food or water?
J-w-water
E-here

She hands me a water bottle and I slowly sip on it as my eyes become heavy but before they shut Erika says something
E-Jake
J-hmm?
E-want your key?

My eyes then open really wide and I take it from her hand and put it on and lay down so my heads on her lap as im still wrapped in blanket and I start to fall asleep as she's playing with my hair..

Logan's POV
Erika and I are driving down the highway at 4am trying to find my brother that shows how much we love him, anyway we have my phone hooked up to the GPS so it tells us where he is from the find my iPhone app but then the GPS says "destination not found" both Erika and I look at the phone and see a alert saying the phone can't be found anymore
L-fuck *mumbles*
E-hey calm down he's probably fine, his phone just probably died it's ok
L-yeah but what if he got taken again or hit by a car..
E-Logan stop, trust me he's fine
L-ok..

We continued driving the same way hoping that Jake wouldn't take a wrong turn and go the absolute wrong way, we were then driving for 3 hours and I seen something on the side of the road, then the headlight shined at it and the person out there head up and I seen it was Jake I quickly hit the brake and Erika and I jumped out and I picked him up like he was a toddler and brought him to the back seat, we got him situated then turned around and started heading home

Skip to when they get home

Jake's POV
I wake up to Logan yelling
L-GET UP JERIKA WERE HOME
E-I'm up
J-*groans* nooo I'm still cold
L-really? You were in that blanket taco for 6 hours
J-*laughs* blanket Taco?
L-sorry I've been driving for 12 straight while you 2 slept *laughs*
E-Logan go inside I will get him out
L-ok thanks Erika
E-yup *logan walks inside* Jakey baby come on we are staying with Logan till the house gets fixed because there's no windows or no door, also while your inside sleeping and keeping warm in going to run over to our house and grab the box with your uncles stuff inside it
J-but-
E-nope if you don't go inside I won't go get the box and it will get stolen
J-ok, ok I'm going, also grab my back pack because I kinda need to go to school in like 3 hours
E-ok go inside now and I will see you in 30 minutes
J-ok

I get up still wrapped in 3 blankets and waddle my way to the door I hear the worlds cutest laugh behind me and I turn around and smile shifting my glasses to see better
J-what are you laughing at
E-the way your walking you look like a little penguin
J-well I'm your little penguin right?
E-mine and only mine *smiles*
J-*smiles back* I love you
E-I love you too

Erika gets into her Tesla that was already parked here and I continue walking inside and flop down on the couch and just look at the ceiling still going my key that I haven't let go of for the last 6 hours, I then start silently crying for some reason I then close my eyes and fall back asleep crying...
