I slowly roll out if bed and on to the hard wood floor. "Ouch," I let out in a monotone voice.

I slowly gain my balance on my own two feet. I look at the clock and its glowing in black numbers, 8:45. Okay, I think to my self I have to be at the airport in two hours. I quietly walk to the bathroom and turn in the water. I strip down and step in to the warm water. Quickly I wash up then rinse and just stand there in the warm water with it water falling over my body.

I get out and wrap a towel around myself. I can already feel the depression rushing over me like a giant tidal wave. My smile turns to a frown as I walk to my room and pick up the clothes I laid out the night before. I slip in to my dark washed denim jeans and white t-shirt. I walk back to the bathroom and brush my hair then my teeth. I quickly apply some mascara and concealer and put on the necklace Connor got me before I exit again. I slip on my flats and put the last things in my suitcase. I zip it and grab my jacket then head downstairs.

We're about to walk out the door but I suddenly remember all of the medicines in my bathroom cabinet. I quickly run up an grab a small makeup bag then throw some cotton balls and the medicines along with some bandages and ointments. I run back downstairs with the bag in my hands. Ben looks at me with a smile in his face and simply nods. Meredith and Bear must already be in the truck because we walk out and he locks the door behind us.

I climb into the back of the truck with the bag still in my hands. I take out the pills in need to take and ask if someone has a bottle of water. Luckily Meredith does I throw the pills and chug some of the water. I hand it back to her and say thank you. After I start to stuff the bottles with cotton so you can't hear the pills inside the bottle. I close it and am done with it for the rest of the day. Hopefully.

We pull up to the drop off area and we all get out including a still half asleep Bear in his footie pajamas. Ben gets my stuff out of the back and sets my one suitcase on the curb ago with my backpack and guitar case. I know I'm probably not going to use it but it's comforting to me. I swing my backpack on to my back. We just stand there for awhile til I see a tired Bear look back at me while in Meredith's arms. He does one of those baby waves that isn't exactly a wave but still the most adorable thing ever.

"Well, I guess this is it," Ben says looking to the sidewalk his standing on.

"I guess so," Meredith replies. She walks to the side of the truck and puts Bear back in his seat then walks back to Ben's side.

"Hey, your not getting rid of me this easy," I say trying to lighten the mood. I get a little giggle out of both of them.

"Yeah, I had a feeling you'd be harder to," he says clearly not thinking. Meredith nudges him in the rib, obviously thinking like me.

I feel my smile fade as I hear the words repeat in my head.

"No, not like that," he says as he reaches out to touch my arm.

"It's fine," I say as a single tear works its way down my face.

"I'm sorry sweetheart. I wasn't thinking," he says as he brings me into a hug.

"You mean you can think," I say with a giggle.

"That's it," he says pulling away.

"Well you better get going," Ben says as he hands me a floral folder that he had gotten from somewhere.

I hug Meredith as some tears gather in my eyes. I slowly pull away to see her eyes the same as mine. Then I go to Ben and hug him unbearably tight. I don't know what I would be right now. I would probably still be in that hell hole that Margert called a house. I push those thought to the back if my mind and pull away just as a tear escapes my eye.

Meredith goes and walk back to sit in the truck while Ben walks me in. We stand in the line completely silent while a few more tears find there way to escape my eyes. We finally make it to the front and Ben does all of the stuff since I don't know what to do. They take my big suitcase so I'm left with my guitar and backpack. I hug Ben one last time. As we hug he keeps saying how much he's going to miss me over the week and how I need to talk to him every chance I get. And I glad fully agree.

I walk away from him and head to security. I place my flats, jacket, phone and anything else on me into a blue plastic bin. Then put my backpack and guitar after them. I walk though the metal detector since I'm only 15. I put all of my stuff back on and grab my stuff. I finally find my gate. Gate 213. I find a chair and sit I go though the folder Ben gave me and find a ticket. I don't look at to where so that its still a surprise. But I can't help but peek. Texas. Okay I'm good with that. I pull out my phone since I have 30 minutes to wait. I send Connor a quick text. 'Hey, are you at your secret destination yet.'

He's quick to respond. 'No, still at the airport.'

'What airport?'. Thinking its just a coincidence.

'I really don't know I'm to tired.'

'Try being me. I've been up since 8:30 and am sitting in an airport as well. So no complaining.' I send then add on. 'And you have someone with you.'

I'm guessing a confused Connor texts back. 'Your at an airport by yourself?'

'Yep, cause I'm a big girl. 💁'

'Even I can't do that. I guess I'm a little boy. 👦'

'Awwwwww, you have to go with a big boy or girl.' I press send just as they start to call seats.

'Yes, yes I do.'

'G2g. I'll text you once I land.'

'Okay well we're in the same boat.'

I hear my section get called and I grab my stuff and hand the lady my ticket. I walk though the large tube that leads to the airplane. I walk on to the airplane and find my seat. I somehow get all of the other people's bags to go around my guitar then go to my seat. I stuff my back pack under the seat and pull out my phone and put it in airplane mode. The plane backs up and starts down a long strip of gray. I keep looking at the ground, people, and buildings get smaller and smaller as we go higher and higher.

I finally step off if that stupid plane. Uggggghhhhhh. Of course I was sitting to the person that wants to talk the while time. Wants to know your entire life's story. Yep, that's who I got to sit next to luckily she stopped and started doing something else. I'm not sure what but I really didn't care. I slide my phone out of my pocket and turn the airplane mode off. I send Jen a text as soon as I'm at the baggage claim. 'Where are you?'

She answers after a few minutes.

'I could ask you the same thing.'

I had a feeling if we kept texting this was going to last forever. So I call her instead.

"Where are you?" I say into the phone.

"I'll tell you but have you gotten your bags, yet?"

"No."

"Then get them and I'll tell you where we are or I'll come looking for you."

"Okay," I say as I put my phone I between my shoulder and ear. I see my gorgeous bag come around the corner. You know the usually 15 year old suitcase covered in random thing and bright purple. I grab it and heave it over the side.

"Okay, I have my bag."

"Okay, now walk towards the sign that says 'pick up'. I'm right under the sign. But I look a lot different so trust me."

"Okay, I'm walking, I'm walking, I'm walking. And I see you." I say and hang up and walk a little faster towards her.
