Chapter 30~ Never Have I Ever

Kenny's POV

I couldn't even process what was going on in my mind. We were all sitting in a circle with Hayden giggling hysterically & everyone else seemed to be laughing too.

What the hell?

"Oohh!! Let's play "Never Have I Ever!" Hayden shouted excitedly, but she slurred a bit.

Nope. Not a good idea. We are all wasted.

"Yes!" Elena cried.

"Yay!" Hayden said with a cheer.

Jaden sighs & goes to grab a bottle of vodka & some cups. He comes back and fills up 6 cups. He hands each of us one & sits down without one.

"I'm not playing guys. I'm designated driver because you're all plastered & I'm slightly buzzed. It'll wear off before we leave though." He says with a sigh.

"Noooo! You have to play! Pweasseeee!!!!" Hayden shouts & gives him puppy dog eyes.

He chuckles. "Maybe your brother can drive us." Jaden says slowly.

"Yeeessss!!" Hayden yells.

"Ok fine." Jaden says & pours himself a cup.

Elena claps her hands together. "Well I'll go first! Never have I ever skinny dipped." She says after a moment.

Reluctantly Jaden, Luke, & Darin sip. Cassie sighs & drinks too. Hayden rolls her eyes and takes a sip. I chuckle & take my own drink. Elena smiles & takes a drink of her own.

Wow so we've all done that.

"Ok! Hayden, it's your turn. We're going in a circle." Elena says.

Hayden sighs.

"Um, never have I ever had sex in a car." Hayden says.

"Dammit." Jaden says and drinks again.

Elena sighs & sips from hers.

Darin sips silently & so does Luke.

"Ok Luke it's your turn." Hayden says.

"Hmmm. Never have I ever aced a math test this year." He says.

I laugh at him.

Cassie slowly takes a sip & so does Jaden.

"Awww! You two smarty pants are so cute!" I say teasingly.

"Shut up." Jaden grumbles.

Cassie just flushes pink & remains silent.

"Aight Ken, you're up." Luke says.

I sigh & wrack my brain. After a moment or two I have my question. I glare at Darin while I say it.

"Never have I ever cheated on the person I love." I say through clenched teeth.

Darin sighs, but he doesn't drink. No body else does either.

"Dude I didn't love Hayden anymore when I cheated ok." Darin says to me.

Everyone falls silent. I hear a sniffle and glance at Hayden. A single tear is falling down her cheek & I feel a tug at my heart.

It hurts to see her cry & it's my fault. I shouldn't have said it.

I look at Jaden & nod.

"You're up." I say quietly.

"Ok, well. Never have I ever punched one of my best friends." He says.

Darin scowls & takes a drink. Elena & Hayden do too. Reluctantly I take a small sip.

"Go Darin." Jaden says.

"Ok, never have I ever made out with the person I'm in a relationship withs best friend." He says.

Hayden frowns & takes a drink.

"Cas, you're up." Darin says, but continues to glare at Hayden. Which makes me more angry at him.

"Ok, never have I ever been on a plane." Cassie says.

I smile. She's just so sweet and innocent sometimes it's adorable.

Everyone, but Hayden & I take drinks.

Wow I feel like a loser.

"Elena. It's your turn again." Cassie says.

"Huh?" Elena slurs.

"Your turn." Cassie says.

"M'kay." Elena says.

"Never have I ever been in love with my best friend's boyfriend or girlfriend." She manages to slur out while looking directly at me.

Sadly the alcohol had kicked in so I looked at Darin, smirked, & took a long drink.

Darin scowls again & clenches his drink tighter.

"Hay, it's your turn." Elena says.

"Never have I ever ran away from my problems like a pussy." Hayden says.

Luke drinks. Jaden drinks. Cassie drinks. I drink. But Darin does not.

He turns to her & smirks at her. "What are you doing tomorrow?" He asks her.

"Getting on a plane. Why?" Hayden asks angrily.

"& why are you getting on that plane?" Darin asks still smirking.

"To go stay with my brother for awhile." She says.

"Why are you staying with your brother Hayden? Or did you forget our conversation the other day?" He asks.

"I didn't forget, & it's to get away from you." She retorts.

Darin chuckles maliciously & shakes his head.

"Sounds to me like you're the one running like a pussy." Darin says.

"I'm not running like a pussy. I'm running from a pussy." Hayden shoots back.

"Good one, but let's be honest here. We both hate each other right? Well I've been meaning to tell you this, but you're always busy or whoring yourself out so here it goes."

"I never loved you. You were just my distraction of the week. I needed a big one because of what happened so I picked you. Stop thinking you're so damn special because you got the player to settle down."

"Sweetie you ain't shit. I didn't settle. You were just another bitch for me to fuck." He says. Then he sighs. "I'm glad I got that off my..." He can't finish because I'm already up & punching him.

I feel my fist collide with his jaw & he falls out of his chair. I advance on him, stumbling while I do. I kick him in the stomach & punch his jaw again. I pull back for my next punch, but Darin beat me too it. He hits me in the jaw & jumps on me. I feel the pain hit me like a ton of bricks falling repeatedly with each punch.

"I." Punch. "Fucking." Punch. "Knew." Punch. "It." Darin's cries as Jaden & Luke pull him off me.

I scramble to my feet and tackle him out of their arms. We land in a heap & I punch his jaw again & again. I growl when Jaden & Luke pull me off of him.

Darin clenches his jaw & glares at me. "I fucking knew how you felt Kenny! You selfish bastard!" Darin shouts as he walks out of the room.

I glance at Hayden & she's already in tears. I try to hug her, but her eyes widen in fright & she backs away from me.

My heart tugs again. This is worse. I hurt her too much. I can't take it.

I sigh & walk away. I slump down onto the couch & mentally slap myself repeatedly for what I've just done.  

God dammit I'm so fucking stupid!
