To friends and family,
Here and everywhere
We know them by name
And love them daily
And sometimes war comes,
I wish not to go.
But there is a greater good,
To protect those, we love.
With the changes of war,
We lose our loved ones.
Still in our hearts,
We carry on.
Anywhere we go,
A good soul can be found.
With new memories,
And new experiences.
One thing remains,
We all live under the sun.
We all love.
We all grieve.
We all must remember,
Only God could create a wonderful sunset.
