Miranda's pov
Me and Max were out to lunch, going over what to say at the interview. "I'm sorry I'm so nervous. I don't know why I am." I say, looking down embarrassed. "You're probably regretting signing me." "Nah. You're young. It's newbie jitters. Everyone has them." I forced a smile. Max's phone rings. "It's time to go."
Jason's pov
"I'm going to California for the weekend." I tell my parents. "What?" Mom gasps caught off guard. "To visit Miranda." "Oh yeah. How's she doing by the way?" Mom asks, setting a potholder in the drawer. "Okay I guess. Her play got really good ratings and publicity from critics. She's just really nervous about everything." "Well tell her we said hi." Dad says smiling. I smile and nod. "Thanks dad." I head to my room and call my girl. But she doesn't answer. I always get nervous when she doesn't answer but she said if anything medical happens, I'll be the first person they call. I lay down on my bed, excited for the weekend but dreading the 3 long as heck days til it gets here. I force a smile. "Only three more days, babe." I say, tired from worry.
*A few hours later*
I wake up to my phone ringing. I groggily answer it. "Hello?" "Hey Jason, I finished the interview." She says sounding super nervous. "How'd it go?" "Alright. I think. I'm not sure. I'm just glad it's over. Oh I can't wait for the weekend! I've missed you!" "Me too." I say smiling. "Three days." "Three days." She says, sounding happy now making me really glad.
