We all know the story of Dante, son of the legendary dark knight, but only a few know of (Y/n)'s existence... son of Sparda's brother, Ophiel!

Ash's perspective; Step one is complete. I've seen many future outcomes. Some we win, some we fail. But in only a few, (Y/n) and Dante roam free. So I had no choice but to free them from Ophiel's grasp. For now at least.
I must be cautious, extremely cautious. Time is delicate, I must not shatter it. I now know what needs to happen, so I must act. In order to pull this off, I'll have to lead them on the true path. (Y/n) and Dante. Although, I must be cautious. Ever so cautious. If I reveal too much of the future I could damage time beyond repair.
It all rests on my slender shoulders. I will fall, but before I go I must sow the seeds of redemption. It all falls to me. The whole universe is counting on ME.

First I find that my brother is alive, then I find out that Sparda is dead. It's all been a downhill roller coaster ride since then.

Dante immediately made himself at home by reclining back in the recliner.
Dante: *Relieved sigh* Nap time.
(Y/n): Well then.
Just then the front door creaked open. In walked a young woman. She took one look at Dante then went wide-eyed.
