Paul

I walked into my writting class and immediately sat down next to a woman who looked about my age. She had dark brown hair with some gray streaks in it and beautifuleyes. She was bitting her lip and she looked very nervous about something. "hi i'm Paul, blofis" i said. She smiled at me

"i'm Sally Jackson" she said holding out her hand for me to shake. That name seemed oddly familiar i felt like i had herd it some where.

I tool my seak next to her as the teacher came in.

"hello class, today i am  here to teach you lifeless souls how to write literature and not garbage" he said in a voice that made me question whether or not he was tipsy.(meaning halfway drunk and halfway well not drunk) "chose a partner who will be your mentor. each of you will mentour each other thorough this misrable process of making auful peope like your self writers. I will recite  a qoute from a famous writer annd i want someone to tell me who" i was liking this guy less and less and i looked over at Sally who was staring at the guy like he was crazy. "now if this is to commplicated for your little minds to handle please excuse yourself from the room. now for the qoute "one fish two fish red fish blue fish" now that is what i call literature" The teacher said falling too the ground snoring. Yep deffenitly drunk. Most of the students stomed angrily out of the room and were herd yelling at whoever started this program saying that they want there money back. Sally just sighed and gathered her things. I noticed something fall out of her bag it was a picture of a young boy maybe 14 that looked like her. I tapped her shoulder and gave her the picture. She smiled and told me

" thats Percy, my son" just by looking down at the picture i could tell that she really loved him. I sighed why is it always the good women are taken, but i decided to ask anyway.

"so whats your husband like." she frowned when i asked that question,

"he left before Percy was born he had to go on a ship  and he got lost at sea"

that jerk i thought leaving sally all alone to take care of her son. That kid deffintily look familliar i felt like i saw him on tv before or something. I took a leap of faith when i looked at her

"Sally, would you want to get coffee sometime" i blurted out, i hope she did'nt notice my nervousnes.

"yhea i would like that"she replied smiling. Her smiles were amazing like she was looking at all the good things in you none of the bad.

We walked out of the building chaatting abotu the horrible teacher, but then we passed a window over looking the hudson river and it seemed like it was angry. The waves were getting higher and higher and the wind was picking up like an icy hurricane. I looked over at sally who was plae she seemed to be murmring something under her breath. as soon as she stopped talking to her self the waves died down but were still restles. Werid i looked at her an explanation she just kept on walking. On our way out we saw some girl giving out panflits to all the other students in the class saying that we will have a replacement teachign coming in next week.

"so does starbucks sound good to you?"

she smiled "sounds great" and with that we walked to starbucks. All i knew about this women was that i would never meet another like her.

But what i didnt know yet was how different she really was from all those other single moms out there and that was because her son was Percy Jackson.
