An executive manager told everyone behind my back that I would be presenting a proposal at the next meeting. I found out and challenged him to prove I had ever agreed.
He denied saying it. I forwarded his email back to him. Smooth as a snake oil salesman he said 'present' means 'collate'.
I said his dictionary must be on drugs and cc-ed everyone in my reply.
