"Hurry up and eat Jessica, I have to get you to school." She poked at her cereal.
"She doesn't wanna go." Alex chirped.
"Jessica, you have to go to school. We can go out for ice cream after."
She stuck out her lower lip. "I guess..." She slid off her chair and slowly lifted her backpack.
