She was right. My kids were the highlight of my life. I loved them more than anything. I had to get through this. " I hear you." I mumbled into her shoulder.
"Good." She said.
I leaned back, away from her embrace. "Tha--" I suddenly put both hands on her stomach.
"Kyle!" She said pulling away, startled.
"She's kicking!" I said excitedly, a grin sneaking onto my lips.
