Chapter 13

"Well you see about that, after Kacchan made friends with 'the beast', he would often go into the forest to visit her and it became a regular thing. They were inseparable, until one day Kacchan came back broken, unable to find her. That was the only time i ever saw him crying. Eventhough he couldn't find her after that day, he would always go in search of her but in vain. This desperation might have triggered Kacchan because soon enough, he started to get irritated over almost anything and everything. He especially started hating me because I was quirkless like her. His hatred for me soon turned into hatred for those who were weaker than him. He started bullying all those around him."
Midoriya looked pained and sad while telling me how Bakugou changed and I couldn't help but feel pity and sympathy for the both of them and guilt was soon seeping into me.

"Kacchan really did change for the worse. His broken self caused by the girl turned him into this walking explosion but that very same girl did something which no one could've done. A day when Kacchan was bulying a kid, I went to stand up for that kid but since I was quirkless, I was unable to do anything and instead i was getting beaten up. A voice called out to Kacchan at that time, a voice that saved me from getting beaten up furthur. I saw that the voice belonged to the girl and she had called out to Kacchan but seeing the beast, everyone ran away out of fear. He only stood there unable to believe that she was actually standing before him. Taking that opportunity, I too decided to take the kid with me and ran away. I dont know all the details and also I know nothing about what they talked about but after that day, Kacchan became really ambitious. His sole aim in life was to become the top hero, a hero who would even surpass All Might. His ambition didn't make his attitude any better but with the girl as his driving force, Kacchan was giving his all and getting stronger and stronger each passing day and she's the reason Kacchan is as strong and powerful as he is today. With the dream of being top hero, he might have forgotten about the girl and his actual motive of being a top hero, but im sure deep down his heart still remembers. Well thats all I know about Kacchan. Im not sure if i could be of any help though." Midoriya ended with an awkward laugh.

"Its alright Deku! You've helped me alot. I know everything now and im sorry for whatever has happened to you because of me. I might have turned him into the hostile and moody person he is now, but i'll make sure I turn him back into the Kacchan he once was."

"Thank you and its alri- whaaat?? Wait wait wait! You're that girl?  Now that i think about it, she did have the same hair colour and eye colour as yours and...and you have your left eye bandaged!! Why didn't i realize it sooner. Ah! I even called you terrifying!" Midoriya whisper-shouted (if thats a word) and started to murmur on his own.

"Its fine Deku, I dont mind. Just dont tell Kacchan about this and make sure its a secret between us, I want him to remember me himself. Promise me you won't tell him Deku"
"A-alright! If thats what you wish. I-It'll be a secret."

*End of flashback; back to the present situation*

As pro hero thirteen finished the details of today's training and other necessary information, a strange thing appeared out of the fountain. It was a warp gate and out of it appeared a lot of strange looking people. The person that caught my eye was a mysterious looking man who had hands almost everywhere on the upper  part of his body including his face. He looked strangely dangerous and it felt like he was the leader of all those people. The students thought they were going to be helping with the training but i knew better. They were villians who for unknown reasons were ready to attack us. Aizawa told thirteen to take us students away from the villains and get help while he takes care of them. The hell was I going to leave him alone to die! What was he thinking! I was about to protest but leaving everything under thirteen's care, he dived into the swarm of villains. No! This can't be happening! No! I have to do something! This isn't right!! Dammit!

Bakugou's POV:

I dont know what was going on at all! We were suddenly attacked by real villains and not only that, y/n seemed to be paralyzed in shock! She wasn't moving at all and simply stared at the swarm of villains. But what seemed to have actually left her terrified was not the huge number of villains but Aizawa-sensei fending them off. Something tugged at my chest once again but this wasnt the time to be thinking about it. Keeping everything aside, I instinctively grabbed y/n's hands and pulled her away from the place following thirteen  to get out but we all stopped in our tracks when a mass figure of gas got in our way. Me, along with Kirishima tried to fight him but it didnt work. Thirteen only advised us to get out of there but before we could do that, we were sucked into another warp gate created by this ghostly creature. We were all transferred and separated but within the academy. I ended up in the ruins with Kirishima but i had no idea about the others. Their plan was most likely to separate us and kill us but like hell was I going to let that happen! Im going to kill every single one of these pieces of shit and after im done murdering all this garbage, im going to find y/n and make sure she's safe.

Kirishima and I started fighting and taking down villains but they were so weak, I couldn't help but feel disappointed.  We were done in no time and Kirishima suggested that we should look for the others and help them. I agreed to it but of course, at that moment I had only one person in my mind and that was y/n. We made our way towards the others but not so far away, we saw y/n fighting with a bunch of villains all alone.

"You're underestimating us girly! Withdraw your sword or use your quirk! Whatever it may be, we'll take you down!" Screamed one of the villains and approached y/n, more joining him.

"Like Im ever going to give you weaklings the honor of tasting my blades" with that said, y/n made her way toward a villain and laid a huge hit on it. Her speed and reaction time were amazing and her combat skills were awesome. I thought she was a swordsman alone but i was wrong. She was actually a very skilled fighter too. I stood there admiring her but quickly rushed over to help her when Kirishima called out to me. We had to gather up and work as a team. We got rid of the villains and made our way towards the others once again but upon reaching the original site, we saw Midoriya and his team already present there trembling in fear. I couldn't blame them because the sight before us was almost unbelievable. Aizawa was completely beaten up into a pulp, blood draining out from almost everywhere. He was on the verge of death. I was actually really terrified to see a pro hero like him that way but whats worse, i remembered y/n's reaction from earlier when she saw  Aizawa fending off the villains. I quickly turned my way towards y/n and I knew it! She couldn't handle the awful sight before her. She was lifeless, her eye no longer contained the shine and colour of a living person. She was dead inside, no longer moving, no longer blinking. She had lost all senses at that moment. This was bad! Real bad! Everything was in chaos and we didn't even know if there was going to be any backup. We were trapped!
