Marry The Beast (BAKUGOU KATSUKI X READER)

Chapter 12

Bakugou's POV:

As I sat there arguing with the bunch of idiots, I saw y/n make her way towards Deku. I decided to stop my rambling with them and stayed put at my place noticing that y/n was now seated beside Deku. They seemed to be having some kind of deep converstation. Deku was awkward at first like he always was, but for some reason, he became calm and composed, like he was reminiscing about his sweet childhood memories and telling y/n about it. Y/n on the other hand looked different. She was giving off different looks, some of shock, some of happiness, while others were that of sadness. She seemed to be getting emotional over what Deku was telling her like she was related to everything he was telling her. I don't know what it was all about, but their conversation ended and so did the journey. The bus came to a halt and I looked at Y/n before getting off the bus, but she was already looking at me with sympathy and guilt filled eyes. When i saw that look on her, pain filled me and I just wanted to get away from all this unusual feeling. Deku did this to her and I had no idea what they talked about but I was going to get back at Deku for all this no matter what!

Your POV:

We reached the place for the Training and got off, but all that was on my mind was what Midoriya had told me. My mind only kept pondering back into our conversation that had taken place awhile earlier.

*Flashback*

"Midoriya, do you mind if I have a talk with you?" I say as I sit beside him.

"N-No, ofcourse not" replied Midoriya. "If there's a-anything you want to s-say, go on."

"Well actually I wanted to ask you about Bakugou and your hostile relationship with him"

"Ah, Kacchan? Well actually--" Midoriya seemed to be out of words.
"Its alright Midoriya, you can take your time and begin by telling me why you call him Kacchan then move on to talk about your relationship"

"Umm, i guess the reason I call him Kacchan and my awkward relationship with him are the same and it all began when we were kids." Midoriya said so, with a calm smile on his face. For the first time he seemed blissful and it felt like he was genuinely happy to be talking about his past and memories.

"Oh, so you and Bakugou, go way back into childhood huh" I pondered aloud.

"Mmhh" said Midoriya nodding. "To begin with, Kacchan's name actually came from his first name Katsuki, however, it wasn't me who gave him that name. One day Katsuki and I went to catch bugs in the forest alongside the river. We were really good friends back then. Kacchan was really cool even at a young age, and after his quirk manifested, he was even cooler. All the children in the area would immediately be drawn to him and follow him and I couldn't help but admire him because I was quirkless at that time."

Midoriya seemed to be lost in his sweet memories and I could see how much he looked up to Bakugou. I didn't want to ruin his moment but I had to confirm my suspicions furthur, so I cautiously asked him what happened then.

"As Katsuki and I went deeper into the forest looking for a rare bug, he slipped and fell down a slope. I dont know what happened, but i lost him. I looked down but didn't spot him and searched for him far and wide but couldn't so I went back crying and waited for him at the entrance of the forest. I waited for him for a very long time, even the sun was beginning to set, but he was no where to be seen so i decided it would be best if i go home and inform our parents about it, when Katsuki suddenly appeared out of the forest, but he wasn't alone. He had a scary girl along with her who seemed to be of our age. She would be normal looking if not for her left eye. Her eyes were a weird combination of red, black and yellow and had weird patterns on it which almost made it look like it belonged to some beast. There was also some kind of small red-black aura emitting out of her eye which made her different from all the other people I had ever seen. I was terrified to see her and she must have noticed because she quickly hid herself behind Katsuki."

".........." I only remained silent waiting for him to continue.

" 'I'll be leaving now, I hope to see you again tomorrow Kacchan' was all I could make out before she disappeared into the jungle. I asked Katsuki what it was all about and why she called him Kacchan. He told me that she was his new found friend who inspite of her dangerous looks was quirkless like me. She had no friends because of her eye which was no surprise to me and just as i had thought about her eye earlier, she was known to be called 'the beast'. Katsuki gave her a nick name and made friends with her and in return she gave Katsuki a nick name too, which was Kacchan. Eventhough Katsuki was never the type to entertain cute names and stuffs, he seemed to have taken a liking to it and told me I should start calling him Kacchan too and thats how I started calling him Kacchan until this day."
"I see" was all I could come up with at that time. Everything was clear to me now and I knew Bakugou was the person who I had thought to be. I couldn't help but feel happy, knowing that I had found  my long lost friend and he was with me too but that wasn't the end of the story. I wanted to know what had actually turned Bakugou into such a hostile person. "So what happened to him that changed him so much?"

"Well you see, about that...
