do you know how much it hurts to cut your own stomach?
we've been doing this wrong.
it's more than just a sudden pain.
it's brutal.
watching your own blood.
slowly drip.
onto the floor.
the beads of your own blood.
it's not like a stab
it's more of a cut.
at first nothing happens
then you watch as beads of blood starts to appear
your skin turns pink... then slowly..
more blood.
i can swipe a finger across the cuts.
it leaves a streak..
afterwards, you can just sit there...
and feel as the pain slowly disappears.
both mentally...
and physically.
and then you can continue watching.
as your skin turns redder.
and it starts to swell.
if it's deep.
it'll swell.
if it's not.
it'll just remind you that it's always there.
the stomach is the hardest to cut.
but if i had a heart...
i'd stab it out.
but it's too late...
i've shattered it.
maybe my brain too.
maybe that's why..
no one likes me.
hold up a finger.
wipe up a spot of blood.
watch it as gravity takes hold.
and slowly runs down your finger.
and then...
after you're done...
you join the world again.
and act as if nothing happened.
