I look over at Aaron "this was a mistake" he says crossing his arms. I look at the ground "I'm with Dawn now, you need to learn you don't always get your way" he says, I fake a smile and force myself to nod. "good" he says as he opens my door, "wait" I say quietly he looks over at me. "so this is it... we are completely over?" I ask he just nods I bite my tongue stopping my tears. "c-can I have your hoodie?... I c-can't sleep without your scent" I say staring at the ground he sighs "no" he says abruptly I stare at the ground "o-okay... sorry..." I whisper trying to hide my broken tone. I stay staring at the ground until I hear him leave, I look up and I see his hoodie laying on m bed... He left me his hoodie. He cares.
I put his hoodie on an walk downstairs. Logan is making dinner I ignore him an sit at the table with my feet up. He yells at me to put my feet down I roll my eyes "fuck off" I hiss, he crosses his arms and I put my headphones in blasting Eminem. I feel someone tap my shoulder, I look up an take a headphone out "what mum?" I ask annoyed, she sighs "feet down" she says I put my headphone back in ignoring her. She glares at me, I glare back.
I wish I died instead of Alexis, I deserved it and she didn't, it's not like I'm wanted in this world, everyones happy when I'm gone, they hate dealing with me... especially mum.
My mum pulls my headphones out "we have a pack meeting in half an hour and I expect you to be there" she says, "when have I ever met your expectations?" I ask she sighs, "just be at the meeting" she says walking off. I look at my phone and I see a message from Zane 'be at the gang house in 10 minutes' it says, I can't let my mum down again but I need to see Zane or he will be angry. I quickly call him up.
"how long will it take?" I ask,
"depends"
"I need an answer" I reply,
"you need to remember who's in charge around here" he says annoyed,
"you need to remember who's strongest" I hiss back,
"an hour"
"I can't make it" I say hanging up.

I sit beside my mum staring at a wall bored, Eric smiles an sits beside me. My mum starts speaking but I barely listen until I hear her mention this being her last meeting, I look at her "as some of you know Logan and I are retiring" She says smiling at Logan I stare at her "why wasn't I told?!" I snap she sighs and glares at me, "I have had a long think and the new alpha will indeed be my daughter" she says I cover my mouth. i am not in the mind set for this, I feel like I'm dying an yet now I'm responsible for a heap of people, I can't do this, I'm not even old enough to meet the guidelines. "she may be young but that's why I have chosen one of our best to marry and be alpha with her" my mother says I look at her an shake my head. "Skyla, the new alpha will be marrying Eric Rydan" My mother smiles "thank you for having me as alpha for the past 10 years" she says as she gets up. Everyone smiles and starts leaving, I stare at my mum as the room falls empty. "HOW COULD YOU?!" I yell.
