Chapter 12: heist

I sit in the couch for an hour until I get a call. "Hello?" I answer a deep voice answers "hello Skyla, how have you been?" I instantly recognise the voice, "Zane Santini, long time no see" I say he chuckles "I'm surprised your still alive" he says I roll my eyes "barely" I chuckle. "So you I need to discuss something with you, you know where to find me" he says He then hangs up I smirk. "Time to have some fun" I say standing up and walking out.

I walk into the gang house and straight to Zane's office. I walk in and he smiles "how are you?" I ask he rolls his eyes "you know I hate small talk" he says I nod trying not to roll my eyes at him. "You've heard about that jewel heist that happened right?" He asks I nod while yawning "who was it?" I ask he shrugs "that's what your gonna find out" he says I shake my head "I'm a murderer not a spy" he laughs. "Your going to challenge them, you will go do some heists as well. You will leave a token though... something that shows there's two different people doing it, you will end up bumping into each other after awhile" Zane says I laugh "sounds like too much effort" I say he rolls his eyes "don't care your doing it, tonight too go talk with Tanner, he will go over details" he says I roll my eyes "whatever" I say walking out to the lounge.

A blond guy with greenish blue eyes is staring at me, "I'm Tanner, you must be the famous Skyla" he says I chuckle "hardly" I reply he chuckles as I sit beside him.
He talks me through the details and all the boring stuff. "Do I get a sexy leather outfit?" I ask he laughs "if you can move in it then sure" he says I chuckle.

I smile, a genuine smile. I think I'll try to surround myself with heaps of things so I can keep my mind off my broken soul.
He smiles "you smile, I was thinking for a second there you were cold hearted and don't have a heart" he says I look away, I have a heart just it's broken. "Sorry, did I say something?" He asks I look at him "no, no" I say he raises an eyebrow I just fake a smile.

He stares at my lips. I smirk "just kiss me" I say he looks at me surprised. I put my hands on his cheeks and start kissing him. He puts his hands around my back and he kisses me back, He pushes me down and climbs on top of me lifting my shirt. "Can you not" I hear Zane mumble Tanner and I quickly sit up and look at him. "Skyla put your shirt on" Zane says I laugh. Tanner looks at me like I have a death wish, "sorry never thought Zane would be sayin' that to me" I say as I put my shirt on Zane chuckles. "If you are gonna fuck go somewhere else and Skyla i thought you had a boyfriend" Zane says I tense and shake my head, "he left" I say weakly Tanner looks at me concerned. That's when I realise I have tears running down my cheeks, I stand up and run out.
I turn wolf when I'm out of sight. I hear a noise behind me and stop and turn, there's a blond wolf behind me staring at me. I see it's eyes and I gasp.

It's Tanner.
I turn human "TANNER?!" I ask surprised he shifts and smirks, "this makes you a whole lot more sexy" he says I roll my eyes. "So now that I know your ex is your weakness you deserve to know my weakness" he says I look away "no... it doesn't matter" I say he grabs my hips and makes me look at him, I think of Aaron. 'Aaron left you! Prove to yourself your better without him! This guy can fuck you harder!' I hear my wolf yelling face palm. "What?" He asks I smile "nothing" I say. I grab his hand "come with me" I say he nods and I run he follows.

I get to Midnights house and walk in, he follows "nice house" he says I just nod. He pushes me against the wall and starts kissing my neck, I moan and lead him into Aaron's room. "This isn't your room" he says looking around, I bite my lip "is this your pack house?" He asks I shake my head "it's my cousin and ex's" I say looking away. "Why are we here?" I look at him "I'm staying here, I wanted to get away from my pack" I say he nods "so your family is in separate packs?" He asks I nod. "Is this your ex's room?" He asks staring at a photo that's hanging on the wall of me and Aaron, it's smashed like Aarons punched it. I just grab him and start kissing him, he lays me down on the bed and kisses my neck.

A few hours later~

I giggle while he kisses my neck. I sit up "what's the time?!" I ask he shrugs, I look at my phone, it's 12:34pm I quickly put on a black leather jacket and black jeans. Tanner tilts his head "I have a jewellery store to rob" I say he chuckles I fake a smile. We walk out and he leaves, I walk to the city.

I walk down the streets of the empty city with tears running down my cheeks, Tanner reminds me too much of Aaron. I wipe my tears and pull a rose off a rose bush and force my way into the jewellery store. I grab a 6 million dollar ruby necklace off the main manikin.

I put the rose where it was and leave. Too easy.

I walk back to Midnights and lay in Aaron's bed crying while staring at the necklace. I hate being alone.
I stand up and pull up one of Aarons floorboards putting the ruby necklace under it, I then put it back.
