Chapter 31

{Maya}

I woke up in my room and a note was on my blanket. I didn't check it yet. I had my phone and was scrolling through twitter. Replying to DM's following. I quickly noticed the time :

11:27 a.m

I finally moved my body upward and sat up. K graves the note and started reading.

Maya,
Wakey wakey eggs and backey

~Trev

I figured that just meant Togo downstairs. So I went downstairs and found bacon and eggs on a plate along with another note.

A dip in the pool a drink in the sun. Find me.

~Trev

I went into the backyard to look for another note. I saw a rock holding down a note on a beach chair. I ran over to the note and read it

I knew u were clever. Now turn around

~Trev

I spin around to find Trevor wrapping his arms around my waist. I cup his face and pull him into a kiss.

"Want to go get some fro-yo?" Trevor askes me as we pull apart.

"DID I HEAR FRO-YO?!" Kian yelled from his window.

How did he hear that. His room is on the 3rd floor.

"YES YOU DID KIAN. BUT YOURE NOT COMING!" I shout back.

I hear a tiny groan and then a window go shut. I start laughing along with Trevor.

"So Fro-yo?" Trevor askes me

"Duhhhh...." I say while he wraps his arm around my shoulder.

"Okay let's go." he said tugging my arm torwards the house.

I follow him and we make small talk as we penny board to Fro-yo. Him being the gentleman he is, he opens the door and then he looks all around for a table.

"How about that one!" I say pointing to the tabled that have the couch seats that are by the wall.

We both walk over and drop off our stuff. Then we go to the station where we get our things. I got Sea Salt Pretzel and Birthday cake with both types of bobas, and a ton of gummy bears and some chocolate kit-kats. If you think I got a lot you should see Trevor's Bowl.
I get out my wallet to pay. I have way to much money on my hands anyway. I took out my credit card and I was about to swipe my card when Trevor all of a sudden pushes my card out of the machine.

"What the hell Trevor?" I ask

"In paying." I see him open his wallet and their is only 1 twenty dollar bill.

"NO YOUR NOT!" I yell causing everyone to look at us.

I swipe my card on the machine and it registers. I sign my name and the man hands me a receipt but I reject it. Me and Trevor go to the table, still quite.

"Hey so what happend over there?" Trevor askes me as he shoves a spoonful into his mouth.

I laugh at him. But I didn't want him to think I was looking at his wallet.

"You always pay," I take a bite. "it's my turn."

"Did you look at my wallet." he asked me

My chest stiffend my neck pained.

"You did." he said. he looked as if he was holding back a laugh.

Then He let out a laugh.

"Don't worry about me. that was my 2nd wallet."

I slightly laugh in relief that we weren't in a fight
