『 Canada 』
It was an meeting for the countries. America and England had been going back and fourth for several minutes. France had tried to flirt with Japan, only to be pushed away by China.
Typical France.
However, amidst the chaos sat a lone, forgotten country.
Canada, although being the second biggest country had yet to be acknowledged. He sat quietly, twiddling him thumbs.
He watched the other's riot among themselves. A quiet sigh escaped his lips as England poked at America.
"Hey, Canada."
"Hey, I'm right here." Someone tugs on his sleeve.
C/n, another quiet nation, waves shyly. He didn't know her very well, only that she had good resources and was willing to stay isolated from everyone else.
"Oh-! Hello C/n," He greeted, tensing up instantly. Here he was, getting nervous over a girl talking to him. (Or was it that she was pretty?)
"How about we ditch this place and get something to drink?"
Canada reels back, eyes wide.
The C/n, asking him for drinks, and leaving the meeting? Was this for real?
"It's okay if you don't want to-"
"Okay." Canada cuts her off, rather quickly. He wanted to get to know more about this country.
She went quiet, staring with a curious expression.
"C-C/n...?" Canada mumbled, worried that he had somehow offended her.
"Ah, sorry. You surprised me that's all." She smiles, turning away. Her laugh was soft. Melodic.
"You're the first person who's willing to hang out with me." She sighed, scratching her cheek.
Canada gulped, looking down into his lap. He knew all too well the feeling of rejection.
"Get some bro!" Canada hears his brother shout from the other side of the room. All heads turn toward C/n and Canada.
France's 'honhonhon' could be heard somewhere else in the room.
"Wha-What--?!" Canada shrieks, face going a deep shade of red. C/n sighed, exasperated at the American.
Nevertheless, she still managed to send Canada a flirty wink despite the light red hue painting her cheeks.
