Chapter 28

I woke up in a dark room, chains on my hands and legs, chained to one giant wooden pillar.

"Hm. You aren't as tough as you were last time. What happened?" said a voice.

"You using a mirror right now?" I asked.

"Still feisty as ever" he said laughing.

The ninja cane from the shadows. It was the ninja that took my eye.

"Nice day to be at the cafe huh? I'm sure your friends would agree" he said.

So that was him. I should've known that the guy looked suspicious.

"So what? You want my other eye?" I asked.

He laughed.

"No" he said.

"Then what do you want?" I asked.

"Just to torture you. I want to capture both of your friends, see if they're any good use to me" he said.

"And what "good" would they serve you?"

"That's not for you to know child" he said.

"If you give me your friends-"

"Shut up. I won't give my friends to a bastard like you" I said.

"Ah, soy didn't let me finish" he said.

I listened reluctantly.

"If you give me your friends, I can bring Shisui back to life" he said.

I started shaking.

"You wanna consider that offer kid?" he asked.

"No. I'm not an idiot. Shisui is dead. He's gone" I said.

"Really?" he asked.

He went further into the cave and brought out Shisui.

He was breathing.

I had to move my fingers.

"Release!"

Of course it HAD to be a Genjutsu. Never would be real anyway.

"You're pretty smart kid" he said.

I felt a stab in my back.

"Not smart enough" he said.

He'd stabbed me in the back with a Kunai as I tried hard not to yelp in pain.

"So kid, you wanna stay here forever?" he asked.

I leaned my head against the pillar as he kept removing and stabbing the knife on the same spot while I breathed shakily.

"Stop" I said with my voice breaking.

"So will you bring me your friends?" he asked.

"Yes" I said.

"Just to make sure..."

He tapped my shoulder with a mark.

"That's so I can control you into bringing them to me. Have fun" he said smugly.

My legs moved on their own as I struggled to not move them, there was a searing lain in the spot of the mark.

"If you try to resist it, it'll hurt" he yelled.

At least he couldn't hear what I was saying.

I saw Sai and Genma and they ran over.

"Itachi what're you-"

"Don't come any closer" I said.

"Why?"

"A guy... kidnapped me... he's controlling me into... taking you guys..." I said.

It even hurt to fight against what I was going to say and I fell to my knees.

"Itachi!"

My arm pulled out a Kunai.

"Damn it!" I yelled.

My legs started to move on their own, but I managed to resist the lain long enough for them to get away.

I fell to the floor and I heard a voice. It sounded familiar, but it was one I hadn't heard in a while.

"Shisui?"
