I saw Sai heading by the waterfall as well.
"What are you doing at this time?" I asked.
"Oh. I was going to the waterfall" he said.
"Same" I said.
We both walked there without talking. The wall there was pretty short. I then heard the waterfall rushing nearby.
"428 feet tall" I said.
"It'd kill someone if they were to fall off" said Sai.
"I know" I said.
We both leaned against the rail covering the waterfall. The rail was 4 feet tall, to prevent little kids from falling off.
"So do you know when we will get our next mission?" I asked.
"Don't know. I think next week" said Sai.
"Hmm. Okay" I said.
"Why?" asked Sai.
"Well Sai..."
"What is it?" he asked.
"I'm done" I said.
"With ANBU?!" he asked.
"No. I'm not leaving ANBU" I said.
"Oh okay" he said.
"Well I'm kind of leaving" I said.
"So how are you kind of leaving exactly?" asked Sai.
"Sai, I didn't mean I was done with ANBU" I said.
"Oh Itachi. Is this about what we talked about yesterday?" he asked.
I nodded.
"Sai I'm done" I said.
I climbed on top of the rail.
"Itachi..."
Sai's eyes teared.
"You'll be fine Sai. You're a very talented ninja. You'll do well in ANBU" I said.
"But Itachi..."
"Sai. I've lived my whole life suffering with this and that. I can't take it anymore. I don't want to live in a world with an abusive father, and especially without Shisui" I said.
"You understand more than anyone" I said.
Sai sighed (LOL).
"Goodbye Sai" I said.
I jumped off but Sai jumped off as well.
"WHAT THE HELL?!"
I quickly turned around so I could catch Sai.
"What's wrong with you?!"
"I won't if you won't" he said.
I sighed.
"Fine."
We both climbed back up and headed back to my house. I was glad that father had gone on a mission with the police force because he won't be back for months.
"Since you have no house, I figured you could stay at my place. You can meet my brothers" I said.
I opened the door.
"Mom this is Sai. He's homeless and he's in ANBU with me. I was hoping-"
"Of course" she said.
Sasuke and Gaara walked up to me.
"Are you okay now Niisan?" asked Sasuke.
"Yes Sasuke. This is Sai." I said.
"Hi Sai!"
Sai and I walked up to my room and talked about our lives.
