Meera gazed at her phone screen and back at Samar, if it wasn't for him, she wouldn't even consider taking that call and he couldn't blame her, for all her dreams and hopes of love and happy stable life has shattered into million pieces because of her so called ex fiancée

And even when Jay's actions worked for his benefit, for if it wasn't for Jay's cheating on Meera, they wouldn't probably end up together, Samar still loathed Jay whenever he thought of what he did to her

How could a man with his sane mind cheat on a woman like Meera?!!

He thought as His eyes traveled from her trembling hands holding the phone, up to her plumped lips that she's nibbling nervously, finally to her amber greenish eyes staring at him with uncertainty

She was every bit of captivating, even at the edge of a breakdown

He didn't know if it was the effect of the medication, but she was incredibly irresistible to him at this moment, in fact, if it wasn't for his injury she would be in his bed right now with him on top of her, showing her the difference between a real man who worshipped her and a pathetic loser like Jay

"Samar, I can't" Meera's voice brought back Samar floating mind into reality and he blinked repeatedly, shaking out those thoughts of his head, it was definitely not the time to be daydreaming, she better answer that call or they'll lose any chance in finding where Jay's hiding

He held her hand, and spoke in a tender, soothing voice

"Baby, I know it's hard for you to hear his voice after all the things he did, God knows how's that makes me feel"

She sighed, looking at him with frightened eyes

"We have to get him talking, there's a good chance that we can get him out of his hiding" he said softly

Meera mouth dried and it felt difficult to swallow, and thought, if he only knew what her real fear was, he wouldn't be comforting her this way

Samar cupped her face, stroking her flushed cheeks with his thumbs "It's just a phone call"

Samar was right..

Well, partially right, the idea of talking to Jay made her nauseated especially after all the things that happened last night

But mostly it was lying to Samar that made feels worse

Meera nodded and glanced at the phone, and suddenly the screen seemed so blurry

Her heart started racing and her breathing got shallow, she felt like she was sinking into the ground like a rock sinks in deep water

Meera's shut her eyes and the phone fell off her hand landing on Samar's bed, she grabbed Samar's wrists to keep her balance, she wasn't able to remain standing much longer, her legs buckled and she stumbled

Samar's eyes widened and he caught her by the waist before she collapsed to the ground

"Whoa!!!!" Samar sat her on the bed and she laid her head on his shoulder

Samar supported her head up trying to catch Meera's eyes looked at her, her eyes were filled with tears "Meera, What's wrong?!"
