"Are you out of your mind?! you're not meeting him, over my dead body"

Samar groaned and grabbed Meera's arm, pulling her back inside Arjun's office

Meera jerked his hand away as soon as they entered the office "Would you stop pulling me around like that?!"

"Then stop making do it" Samar said with his face almost touching hers

The rage in his eyes was something Meera never saw before, she knew it wasn't directed towards her but still it made her worried

"I'm sorry, I was just trying to help" she apologized, she didn't want to make things worse, but she just thought it was the best thing to do right now, after all she was the one how put Samar in this situation, at this point, she would do anything to help him out

"I don't need your help, I can handle it" Samar hissed

"No you can't, this time I'm the one calling the shots" she said looking him in the eyes with her finger poking his chest

He looked at her fearless eyes and thought that he never had a woman trying to rescue him before, the way she was willing to face Jay again after what he did to her just to keep him safe caught him off guard

Samar glanced down at her hand on his chest and back at her with one raised brow, "Did you just poke me?"

He asked, stepping closer to her, and she stumbled back

She felt cold chills shooting up her body as he got closer, she opened her mouth to speak, but the words suddenly vanished from her mind

Samar took another step and she took one back "What?! You're speechless now?! I thought you were the one calling the shots"

She looked up at him and force down a knot that filled the back of her throat, it was hard for her to breath normally with him standing inches away, she could feel the heat of his body through his shirt and it drove her crazy, she knew that he was doing this on purpose, he knew his effect on her and he enjoyed it

Arjun who was standing awkwardly at the door cleared his throat to get Samar's attention

"Samar, the lawyer is waiting and he...."

"Arjun, Out!!!" Samar ordered with his eyes still fixated on Meera's, and Arjun immediately walked out shutting the door behind him

Meera turned her head to look at Arjun but Samar held her chin, forcing her to look at him again "eyes on me" he commanded her and she obeyed him silently

Samar took another step, and Meera's back was now against the wall, his fingers drifted up her arms feelings the chills on her skin as his hands went higher

He leaned over and caressed her slightly parted lips with his thumb "No one ever dared to speak to me this way before" he whispered in a low husky voice

Meera lowered her eyelids before looking into his eyes again "There's a first time for everything" she said that and regretted it immediately when she saw the sudden change in his expressions, she could tell if he was angry or shocked

Her heart started racing when his arms slid around her and pulled her close to his chest, He slightly smiled before pressing his lips against hers in a hungry, passionate kiss, leaving Meera stunned for seconds before she warped her arms around his neck kissing him back with equal passion

The way she challenged him, made her irresistible to him, her fearless attitude triggered something inside him that no other woman did, his hand tangled in her silky hair  as his lips became more and more demanding, his lips moved down to her neck breathing in the scent of her skin before leaving and a scarlet blotch on her neck marking her as his
