Gongchan moved his feet quickly as he ran down the street, shaded by the cloudy sky. He stopped for a moment to catch his breath, looking up as rain steadily dripped from it. He couldn't see the moon!

He sat on an empty park bench that stood outside a convenience store. The bells on the door jingled as a woman exited with an umbrella in one hand and her child's hand in the other. The little boy stared at Gongchan as they passed.

With a groan, Gongchan knew he had to keep going. It was never safe to be around others at times like these. He kept running, dodging people until he finally made it off the main streets and into an alleyway. He couldn't stop now! Someone could still spot him while taking out trash or something!

After all that running, this alley... was a dead end. Feeling incredibly frustrated, Gongchan ran back out, and nearly bumped into someone. By the light of the hospital sign, he could see the man's extremely pale, thin face. It was Jinyoung.

Jinyoung had been like the father of the band... Or make that the grumpy grandpa, always nagging the younger members to clean up after themselves. At least, he was a good group leader. However, Gongchan remembered talking to him after B1A4 broke up, and Jinyoung blamed himself. He let everyone down and drained WM's money with albums and concerts that didn't sell. Gongchan knew that wasn't the truth.

Gongchan was still in shock to see his old friend, wanting to pinch himself. "Three band members in a day?" he said to himself as he wiped away the sweat and rain from his forehead.

"Mweo?" Jinyoung said, confused. "What are you doing here?" He switched to a whisper, scanning the area for people before pulling Gongchan away from the backdoor.

"I should be asking you that question," Gongchan reported, nodding his head toward the illuminated hospital sign.

"I asked you first," Jinyoung snarled. "And you're the one who looks sick."

Gongchan straightened once he realized he was hunched over with his arms hugging his abdomen. "Have you looked in a mirror lately? You're white as a ghost! And you just stepped out of a hospital! You're not... dying too, are you?"

"Hm? Me? No." Jinyoung shook his head. "What do you mean by 'too'?"

Gongchan's shoulders slumped. "You haven't heard? Sandeul... He–"

"Oh yeah. Sandeul. I heard." Jinyoung paused in thought, noticing the suit Gongchan wore. "His funeral was earlier today, right? Heol... I would've come, but being around crowds these days, it–uh... gives me a headache."

"Admit it. You're sick." Gongchan crossed his arms.

"Why are you so concerned about me?" the older one became more annoyed. "You're the one who always took days off when the band was together! I know there was something wrong with your health, even though you tried to hide it. Even now you're..." Jinyoung's expression suddenly turned to pity. "Gongchan, are you okay?"

Gongchan whimpered as every bone in his body ached, about to collapse. "I-I can't stay here! I need to leave!"

Jinyoung caught hold of his arm before he could leave. "Behind those clouds... it's a full moon, isn't it? I'm starting to think it wasn't just a coincidence that you always returned from your 'sick leave' with tufts of dog hair stuck to your clothes."

Wiggling out of his grasp, Gongchan made eye contact with Jinyoung, giving him a look of desperation. "Please, hyung... I'm begging you. Don't tell anyone that I'm a werewolf! No one will ever come near me again."

Falling to a heap on the wet ground, Gongchan whimpered and flinched for what seemed like hours as his bones morphed, and his skin grew fluffy fur. Transforming was never a fun time. More like a time of torture. Finally, the little wolf seemed to sigh after the transformation was complete, and he scampered away for the forest, still wearing his suit.

"Not to worry," Jinyoung said even though Gongchan was out of earshot. He looked into the distance that was scattered with sparks of lightning with immense sadness. "I'm already keeping a secret of my own. What's one more?"
