chapter forty-seven; real life

I watch as Leanna drags him out to he dance floor, a smile on both of their faces.

They're so comfortable together it makes me wonder why they haven't dated yet, but then I realized that Connor is her older brother and he might be protective.

I know that's how Sebastian is.

She laughs at something he says before grabbing a drink from a tray behind Brad, drinking its contents immediately.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" George asks. "Your jaw is clenched and you're balling your fists."

Blake looks at me, an amused smile on his face. "You're jealous, aren't you?"

"So what if I am?"

"You have some serious feelings for this girl, don't you?"

"I- I don't know." I shake my head. "But what I do know is thy I've never felt like this about anyone. Ever."

Blake's eyes widen before he whispers something to George, making his eyes widen as well.

"What?" I snap.

"You might be in love." George says quickly.

"What? That's crazy! I've only know her a month there's no way I'm-"

"It's either that or you're falling very very hard."

"What if I am? What if I can't get back up?"

"Then you'll have to hope she feels the same way."

"Oh"

"I think she does." James says.

I turn around and stare at him. "What?"

"You're talking about Leah, right?"

I nod.

"I think she feels the same."

"You do?"

"Trust me, I know when that girl has feelings for someone."

"How?"

"It's a look." He smiles. "And you have the exact same look."

"Oh."

"Listen to the man that has a good relationship." Blake says quietly. "That and he's known Leah way longer than you have."

"Obviously."

"Make a move. She's probably scared too."

I nod.

"Now if you'll excuse me, I have an amazing girlfriend to get back to."

"You heard the man, make a move." George says with a smile.

"Oh hush."

Blake's eyes widen and he gasps.

"You alright there?"

"It's now or never."

"What?"

"We go home for a few days tomorrow before the Europe tour. She's staying here with her brother."

I stop. "I didn't think about that."

"I don't think anyone did."

"So what do I do?"

"Go get her?" Blake says. "Why are you so scared?"

"Because he doesn't want to ruin this thing with her." George says.

I look around, but don't see her. I see Brad with Connor and Tristan, but there's no sign of Leanna.

"Uh, guys? She's not here."

"What do you mean 'she's not here'? She's gotta be here somewhere."

"I don't see her!"

Blake stands on his toes and looks around. "He's right."

"She could be in the bathroom?"

"That's always a possibility."

"Where's Leah?" Connor asks as he and Brad come over to us.

"Uh, we don't know." I say quietly before looking at Brad. "Last time I saw her she was with you."

"She told me she was coming back over here."

Connor shakes his head. "Drinks?"

"She told me she was done drinking for the night."

"Where the hell is my sister?"
