Leanna: I really am

Bibbs: for?

Leanna: youre about to see what raccoon me looks like

Bibbs: what?

*incoming FaceTime call from Leanna*

Reece picks up the phone, worrying the moment he sees her.

Leanna's eyes are swollen and red, with mascara running down her face and a bruise forming on her collarbone.

"Leanna!"

'I'm okay, i think'

"What the hell happened?"

'Well my mother came back around. Sebastian got mad and threw something at her, but it hit me instead.'

"I'm sorry."

'It's okay, i just hate that he's like this. He's never ever like this.'

Leah sighs.

'I'm sorry. I shouldn't have bothered you with this. It's family problems and I don't really feel like you want to hear about them.'

Reece's eyes widen at her words.

"Who said that?"

'I just didn't want to bore you.'

"You'll never bore me."

Reece smiles.

"Leah, I am and always will be here for you. Don't ever think twice about that."

Leah's frown quickly turns into a grin.

'You mean it?'

"Of course I do."

'Well damn.'

"What?"

'I just wish I could hug you. You're amazing, you know that, right?'

"I've been told once or twice."

'Oi! Shut it.'

The two laugh.

'You're always so easy to talk to. Sometimes it feels like I barely know you, but other times it feels like I've known you for years and I can trust you with my deepest and darkest secrets.'

"You have deep, dark secrets?"

'Out if everything I said, that's what you heard?'

"No. I heard everything you said, and I honestly feel the same way."

'Okay. I didn't know if it was just me or not.'

"I like you Leanna. I like you a lot."

'I like you a lot too, Bibbs.'
