"You must be lying." I said to her. There was no other way for me to express what I was feeling. It just COULDN'T BE.

It was then that Anna turned towards Amarande.

"He told me not to lie."

(Right now, I'm really anxious to just give the ending away and write it. Ughhh, but I will be patient and write the rest of day 5. Lol)

"Anna, are you going to help Philip tomorrow?" I asked her. Her eyes were filled with emptiness, like she was under a spell. I had to kill her if she was with him, I would have no choice.

She turned that blank expression to me, watching me for a few moments.

"I was supposed to. He told me to meet in the woods behind here around ten o' clock." she said. A sinking feeling settled over my stomach and I shook my head slightly. I had come to think that Anna was a friend, especially back then when I had taught her how to fight. Things were different now.

"Anna," I whispered. I looked up to meet her empty eyes. "You know what I have to do if you choose to fight with him. Especially now that I have taught you some of my own tricks."

Slow recognition filled her face. Her empty features became a little more animated, but in a sad way. She looked down at the wooden table, taking a few breaths before lifting her head up to speak. A frown had taken over her mouth, as her eyes had become troubled.

I missed the emptiness in her already.

"Yes, I know what you have to do," she said slowly, making sure each word she said came out right. I really didn't want to kill her, I was sick of death, sick of killing people around me. "But what if I chose to be on your side? Could that work? I don't want to kill you, I think you're nice." she finished in a rush, as if embarrassed at the suggestion.

I looked to John and Amarande who were sitting there, watching the exchange between the two of us. We all made eye contact with each other, going through options with our eyes. My creator suddenly nodded, a jerky motion. Since Anna had said that Philip was more powerful than him, he'd become more reserved. I could tell he didn't like competition.

I looked back to Anna, who was chewing on her bottom lip, probably from being really nervous at what I would say.

"You can join us, but you must not be let out of our sight. If you play with us once, you're done." I said to her.

She sighed in relief and nodded.

"I'm not playing with you. I don't want to see you get killed." she said to me. I watched her for a few moments before nodding.

"You will come to my house. I don't want you living in this awful place." she nodded again as I got up and looked at John and Amarande to follow me. They got up from the creaky wooden chairs and pushed them in like it was a five-star restaurant. I gave them each a look, clearly stating 'wtf?', but they just shrugged their shoulders.

I turned around to go out the door. I could hear all three of their footsteps following behind me. I looked back at them and smiled.

"Catch me if you can." I suddenly said and dashed and opened the door, easily getting out and shutting it in the others' faces. I snickered and ran through the long grass, ignoring any holes of water or dirt. I could hear curses because I had jammed the lock. It wasn't long before I reached the car, putting my hands on my hips like a cheerleader.

"Back up Guys, were doing this the easy way." I heard Amarande say, and then a loud boom erupted. I laughed. A hole had been made in the warehouse, large enough for them to climb out. I shook my head to myself. What nerds.

They made their way over to me, glares coming from all three of them. I looked at Anna.

"Still think I'm nice?" I asked her. John answered.

"We all think you're nice." he said, a smirk on his face. "So nice that were going to let you walk home."

All of a sudden they all got into the car, so fast that I wasn't expecting it. I pounded onto the black outside. It was my Aston, there was no way they were getting away with it. I could have broken the glass, but decided against it. I didn't mind walking home.

They drove off, leaving me standing on the gravel driveway that continued for a couple of miles. I walked and didn't bother running. The clouds had given way to sun, making me sweat within ten minutes. It was easily one hundred degrees today.

Corn was growing on either side of me, probably for the next mile or so to the next house. I sighed.

A feeling of power settled over me, and I looked ahead, wondering if maybe Amarande was close by. Nothing. I felt weird, like I wanted to go hide in the corn. Something must be coming. I kicked the gravel as I went, letting myself be bored.

A car suddenly stopped next to me. A window rolled down on the red expensive car. It was probably not even out yet.

I stopped breathing.

"Well, as if this situation doesn't look familiar. Except this time, I don't have a horse to ride you into town with. I have a car."

So, remember the flashback when Rose first met Philip? He gave her a ride into town on the horse? Yeah, just to explain in case you didnt remember.

It was chapter 14. :)
